hey friends,

i really hate having to do this, but after thinking about it for a long time, i’ve decided to close down houghtonhq. due to personal reasons, i’ve found myself lacking excitement and muse for a while now. my heart is no longer in it, and this group needs & deserves an admin who is 100% dedicated and invested. i enjoyed the time i spend writing with you all and i’m very grateful for the friendships i've build over the past three months. i'm hoping we will be able to write again in the future!

oh, and you're obviously welcome to continue storylines as 1x1/closed group, but i do ask that no new group is build using elements of houghtonhq!
