it's insane to me that they've never apologised to april for this. even if april wasn't being exploited and abused this is such a horrible disproportionate response to what was obviously a mistake that she feels terrible about.

got mad abt this again, ESPECIALLY rhona's comment about ivy. it's already a cruel & unjustified mischaracterisation of april but it's especially evil to say something like that to a girl who less than a year ago had an insanely traumatic stillbirth all by herself (and nearly DIED) and who you know blames herself for it. then again why should rhona be expected to care about april's baby when she's already made it clear that her REAL children will always come first. april is always one mistake away from becoming the cuckoo in the nest to rhona.
