I’ve actually been thinking about this!!!

Corbeau isn’t technically a heretic, not a full fledged one anyways, for a particular reason he keeps close to his chest. But he did pal around them, helped where he could, sending supplies, offering shelter, helping those that needed out of the city to escape. And Amiette was given to him by a heretic, that’s an open plot hook. However he never did give up his title or publicly denounce his peers. That could be seen as cowardly, and I can’t say it really wasn’t. Though now with the war being over he’s been far more open about supporting heretics as they try and make a space for themselves in Ishgard, I imagine there is still a lot of resentment from some.

They could have easily been acquaintances, if not fleeting allies in the past, each helping heretics in their own ways, and someone found by one could have needed the help of the other. But now with the war being over, there’s different battles to fight.

Corbeau is still baby so things will be off the cuff for him a little until he finds all his quirks. Both being in the noble houses though, Corbeau would probably know of Sethileon at the very least, and actually consider him a good sign in regards to Amiette eventually taking his seat when he decides to retire. And he’d be terribly curious in general really. But he doesn’t like, know how to approach so he just sorta stand around awkwardly and drinks too much wine in hopes that it’ll loosen his tongue. The weird vampire looking guy haunting the Forgotten Knight once or twice a week. He’s also mildly known for painting, so idk there’s a small plot hook to be exploited.

And I owe YOU a message, my brain is just still evening out from being on the fritz again for the past few weeks, but I’m taking a day tomorrow!
