I've been thinking.
Rachel is the oracle and she can "see" the future. So cannonly everytime the oracle possesses her she doent remember however there would be times when she randomly doodles and it could be a clue into the future.
Ok so imagine. Rachel has been having this recurring thought and the things shes been drawing are related to that. So one day she finally pieces it together. She sorta figures it out. Someone is going to die. Someone who she might be close to. Imagine that guilt and pressure. She knows its not her fault but still she feels like it is. She is the first person who knows. She knows that she is suppose to tell chiron or someone but if she does everyone would worry. She is the person that would start letting the camp worry and feel scared. Especially since there were already 2 wars.
Would she not tell anyone at first to keep the peace? To let them enjoy while it last?
Imagine the pressure right?
About luke castellan
First of all, me saying all of this does not make his wrong doings valid. Ok.
Luke's life was really sad. His life is the "aww poor bby" type thing that no one says. First of his childhood was horrible. His mother was unstable and scary to a young child. He knew he was a demigod before he was 12 yrs old. And as we all know, the moment you figure out you are a demigod more monsters will come after you (i feel like tho that this fact has been dilluted in hoo). Heck, he thalia and annabeth made dozens of safe houses to keep them safe.
He (and soon thalia and annabeth) lived on the streets for years. He was a scared boy. All he knew was that his dad an almighty god was not helping him (and his only parent). That all of the gods dont do anything to help their children. All they do is make more children and punish them when they misbehave. That is all he knew. He didnt know that the gods actually cared for them.
He knew that the gods dont do anything. They (demigods) do all the work and for what. Which was true. Even percy agrees.
He took care of thalia and annabeth. He made everyone in cabin 12 feel like they belong even if they are not claimed. He saw them, the forgotten and betrayed, and tried to do something.
Of course that something wasnt the solution. He was consumed by kronos and his hatred
His character sorta reminds me of anakin skywalker/darth vader.
He was great character that lets percy think not just in black and white. That war was not just black and white.
Hes still the best antagonist in the rick riordan-pjo-hoo-kane chronicles-etc etc universe in my opinion.
All my feelings are back
Thanks for listening to my ted talks
