For those of you with involuntary identities!
If you could pick your 'type or kin, would it be what you currently are?
Yes
Yes, but a different variety
No
No, but in the same family/type
Other/In replies
I see a lot of folks who simplify their identity into something digestible for others to understand, and that makes me a bit sad. So tell me! What are some pieces of your identity you don't really share because most people don't understand or know what it is!
I'm pretty open about it on here but on other places I'm not as it is a lot to explain.
I identify as every single part of Yellowstone National Park individually. I am a mammal but also a plant and a fungus and a geyser. Even though I experience all the parts of Yellowstone pretty much individually, I consider me being Yellowstone as one identity. To my knowledge there is no word for it but I am the whole ecosystem of yellowstone but also I am every species and rock and river individually. Like I don't have a specific wolf coat cause I'm all of the wolves! Also im a horse but I know my coat cause my horse identity is just a single horse, not an entire national park. My horsenes is pretty easy to explain, I'm a trail riding horse from a wyoming dude ranch.
I dunno if any of that makes sense but I kind of like that it doesnt. I love being weird!!!
Like a hiveidentity! Like a hivemind, its a bunch of different organisms that is actually one thing despite being seperate, but for an identity
