Hello! So I am in the process of discovering all things howler32557038 (I literally memorized buckys number just to find ur blog easier) and I’m confused about where project vesna lies in relation to everything else. I see some similar tags to the simple life but also some things that are wildly different and it seems to have been abandoned? Or is it still happening?Is it important to read to understand later stuff?Thanks for writing such great stories they’re really sustaining me during covid

Project Vesna is a toootally different story with a super similar concept, except it had, like, no happy parts. It’s pretty dark all the way through. It was always a little emotionally draining to write, but then I lost about 9k to a computer glitch and in rewriting it, I fucked up the plot. I dove into The Simple Life and finished it to comfort myself. XD Vesna is abandoned FOR NOW...that being said, nothing is off the table now that I’m stuck at home! I would love to pick it back up soon!

Nice, anon! Steve hurt in the field, stuck at home recovering. Bucky has to take care of both his bf and his kid, which he does already but with less stress. Steve reminisces about this dynamic from his childhood and feels grateful for having a healthy body now. Bucky cooks up a storm and has to constantly tell Lincoln to let Steve rest, but relents later. Lincoln spends all day playing in their room. Maybe Bucky's pregnant with Brooklyn, maybe not? But please, your wips first? I miss them!

I’d be interested to explore some inner Steve thots about how his perspective on getting injured/taking risks has changed now that he has his baby to go home to. I also would imagine that even tho he tends to be kind of a risk taker and not really care abt the consequences because he’ll heal eventually, if he’s more careful in taking care of his injuries when he realizes he’s setting an example for Lincoln🤔
