Come join us for our 3rd Annual Love Is In the Air themed festival, Untamed Night!

Join us in Nighthaven for an evening filled with Love Is In The Air themed vendors, performances, and raffles! The night will be finished off with a dance party!

As always with The Howling Owl’s events, Horde or Alliance are welcome!

This is an 18+ only (OOC and IC) event as items of an adult nature will be discussed, advertised, and traded. Performances will be of a mature nature as well--expect some spice!

When: Friday, February 18th, 6PM WrA

6-8PM WrA: Vendors  8-9PM: Performances 9PM: Dance party and raffle drawings immediately following performances

Raffle info:   There are 2 separate raffles.  1 paid raffle. 1 free raffle. The paid raffle will be 500g a ticket, limit 40 tickets per person.  The free raffle will be a separate raffle with entries via a google form. After performances, winners will be called. You must be present to win or a new winner will be picked. Open to both Horde and Alliance!

Important Announcement

To the Owls and our beloved guests,

@aubgerinejams and I are sad to announce that effective immediately, we will be stepping down as officers and leaving the guild due to poor management and unacceptable behavior by the guild leader, Bella.

It was brought to our attention that she was willing to cast blame on anyone else except herself whenever an issue arose, and these claims were found to be false at best, or deliberate gaslighting attempts at worst. We cannot in good conscience continue to assist her in the maintenance of the guild. We have enjoyed our time as part of the Howling Owl and we wish all of you the very best in your own individual endeavors.

If you wish to contact either of us individually, our tumblr and discord information won’t be changing.

We love you all and we’ll see you around!

The Succulent Tart at....

THE HOWLING OWL'S UNTAMED NIGHT!

The Succulent Tart will be hosting a kissing booth for charity at the Howling Owl's Untamed Night! Remember that the more you tip, the better the kiss you will receieve from your Tart of choice. All proceeds will be donated to our local Horde & Alliance orphanages! How does our kissing booth work?

Approach your Tart of choice, donate however much you would like directly to them, or if they are on the opposite faction, any Tart working the booth can collect gold. Yes, we do collect actual gold! OoC, the gold we receive goes into the Tart bank and is used towards prizes/props for future events. We will also accept ‘RP gold’ since we don’t want anyone to be left out of the fun! Your Tart will then write out a personal smooch emote just for you; the larger donations will receive a spicier smooch! Please give them time to type things out as we are usually doing it on the spot. Reaction emotes are welcomed and encouraged!

*Adult only please: IC and OoC* *You can buy a smooch for someone else, but we will not surprise them with said smooch as consent is key!* *If your OC is not wanting a lip smooch, they are more than welcome to request a smooch elsewhere on their face or on their hand!*

EVERYONE THAT DONATES WILL RECEIVE THE SUCCULENT SMOOCHES COLLECTOR BUTTON PICTURED BELOW! THIS IS THE FOURTH IN THE SERIES!

We are looking for vendors with themed goods (flowers, candies, romantic gifts) Risque things like lingerie or sex toys are okay too. However things like selling escorts services will not be approved.

Vendoring time will run from 6-8PM, at which point vendors will close up so everyone can enjoy the performances.

An update!

Good Afternoon everyone, we hope all of you are having a great day. We all would like to thank  you for coming out to Poetry night last evening.  We had a lot of great performances and we are happy that you all were there to enjoy them with us.

For anyone at poetry last night who stayed until the very end, we had announced that the staff and all of us in management have decided that  starting  in January 2022, we will be reintroducing Club Night Owl.   We will be hosting a number of crowd favorites(like lucky rave and wicked rave) but we hope to get some more suggestions as to what the other themes  could be, so if you have any ideas don’t hesitate to come to either @lian-quinne or @aubgerinejams  with them.

The second item of note is that we are going ahead with Untamed night again in February of 2022.  We will be hosting it at the same place as the other 2 years in Nighthaven,  Moonglade, and this year it will be on February 18th.  For more information on that you can join our festival discord at: https://discord.gg/vmDgDzF the vendor application as well as the schedule for events is now up on there.

The last thing we would like to let everyone know is that the Howling Owl is hiring, as always and you can find out how to apply Here!  

We are going to play everything by ear and consult our staff regularly  to see if they would like to do more or less and you will be informed of any decision we make regarding our events or what is happening with the Owl.  And again, we would like to thank you all for everything you have done and how you have all supported us throughout the years.

On the Matter of Blizzard

After a lot of deliberation, we have decided that the Howling Owl will be on hiatus until further notice. The actions of Activision Blizzard and the ongoing lawsuit have turned a simple, happy time chilling with friends and listening to music and the creativity of our fellow RPers into a legitimate moral dilemma that we do not feel is right to inflict on attendees or ourselves.

Because of this, Owl Fest will also be postponed. We are not 100% certain of the best new date, but will keep all vendors and participants appraised as we make decisions to that effect.

Please continue to support one another through this awful time, and remember that our discord server remains open to you. WoW is not the only way we can communicate, and it shouldn't be.

Looking for Vendors - 3rd Annual Owl Fest

What:  This is an anniversary celebration for The Howling Owl with an arts and music festival theme and a little bit of Brewfest flair!  There will be vendors to shop from for a couple hours at the start of the event. Vendors/booths that include anything arts or music related (painters, sculptors, poets, novelists, jewelcrafting, decorative armor, tattoo artists, musical instruments ect.) Things like artisan wines or craft beers, faire foods, Brewfest themed foods, are also all great options! Each night will close with a dance party hosted by Club Night Owl!  We will also have performances and raffles!

When: September 24th & 25th, 6PM WrA Server (Vendor time will be 6PM-8PM each day.  You can sign up for just one or both nights)

Where: Stormspire, Netherstorm

Want to be involved? Currently, we are looking for vendors to show off and sell their goods! Examples of vendors/booths we’re looking for: Anything arts or music related (painters, sculptors, poets, novelists, jewelcrafting, decorative armor, tattoo artists, ect.)  Also open to food/drink vendors, particularly things like gourmet bakers or craft spirits/beer, ect. Electronic buzzing emanates from the stage, drowning out the rustling of leaves and ambient birdsong ever present in Moonglade. Clank, clank, clank goes machinery; something pings and hisses, little lights flicker in the darkness, and smoke rolls across the stage. A spotlight clicks on, revealing a seated figure slumped in the center of the stage,one leg stretched out in front of them, the other twisted to the side, their ankle tucked back near their hip, surrounded by the shapes of rusted and tarnished boilers and consoles. Their head lolls against their chest, a dark iron crown with pointed spires adorning their winter blue hair as it cascades over one shoulder and obscures half their face. Numerous wires hang from above, plugging into the back of their neck and shoulders. The backs of their hands rest on the floor, their fingers lightly curled, and as the staccato electronic music begins, an array of pink and blue lights flash and flicker. Their fingers twitch, shoulders jolt, and head jerks sharply to the side, their voice coming out in an echoing mechanical buzz as their body snaps from side to side.

“I’m-i-e-i-e-i-e-i-e-i-e-i p-plastic- p-plastic do-o-o-o-oll- p-plastic technologic!”
