I'm all about hope. As a teacher, I'm going to say classes and good social activities. Or you know, getting drunk and partying. Also the beach is nice.

I agree Whitman is a favorite of mine. Not too many can apprecaite the beatniks though, I am rather fond of Ginsberg. Nothing like confessional protest poetry. I’m ever so glad to be in the company of a fellow such as yourself, Howl.

Ginsberg is actually my favourite. Kaddish is my favourite poem of all time. You've got a great point. Plus it's hard to not appreciate his take on mental illness and his relationship with his mother. Aw, you're going to make me feel special. Everyone should just appreciate literature.

I teach Advanced Romanticism here, most of my student have no idea what even goes on in the course. Couldn’t tell Whitman from Emerson for the life of them, poor darlings.

Well that's definitely a shame. Whitman happens to be one of my favourites. I love his utter disregard to the rhyme schemes. I was always a big fan of the beatnik poets though. I know that feeling though, I teach the Evolution of European Literature.

Sounding like a broken record isn't so bad in this case, I really missed you too, and it's really nice to hear I've been missed as well. Howl: I like to think I am but I have you most of the time. They don't. Plus, I did survive. I'm already looking forward to it. They did. Apparently being hot and mopey only works in movies, they much prefer someone to teach and you're better at it than me. Very, very bad. It's better if I show you. Telling you doesn't get the same effect.

Cal: That's true. You moped? :( You could have called me. I appreciate that though, that you were behaving. I'll have to make up my absence for you, yeah? Still not literature, but it's okay, I'm sure the students preferred that over my lessons. I don't think they're going to be questions about your past. Unfortunately for the both of us, she'll probably be asking you about what your intentions are with me...and that is not really a conversation I want to have with you and my little sister...

Howl: I wanted to give you time with your family without interruptions. I survived so it's okay. Yes, please. I would love for you to make it up to me. Actually I got berated a number of times about how it wasn't a lesson. They missed you, I think. That's a small comfort. I bet you'd like to hear my intentions. I don't think she will though, they're all very, very bad ;)
