About the confirmation that Rukia was never the Main Heroine, it really did not make me that mad. I mean, I’ve already been expecting for more bs, so this did not even surprise me. After Rukia’s sidelining, other attempts to degrade her character is something I expected.
This final pronouncement actually made me feel freedom, like I've been emancipated. It finally released Rukia from kubo's shackles and limits in my eyes. Whether she was the intended heroine or not, I can now write her as my own where she will be given the proper treatment that she did not get in canon.
Rukia was finally emancipated too because even with this pronouncement, the fans are adamant in their view that it was indeed Rukia whom they consider heroine. That proves to me that Rukia is finally free of kubo and that her status is something she earned in the eyes of the fans, not because of what kubo gave her in the manga. That's enough for me and I'm satisfied.
Alan Rickman died. Bowie died. Prince died. IR did not become canon. Ferdinand Marcos is going to be buried like hero. Trump won. It’s the beginning of the end.

They praise Rukia when the argument suits them, but they turn around right away when it is no longer needed, like here:
Rukia is only good in their book when she is being good to ori. Can’t say the same for ori though. The *Main Heroine* went to SS mainly to protect K-kun, while the *nakama/side character* Rukia crawled while dying on the floor, still trying to save her in HM.
Not surprising that in this case, it’s the *nakama* who scores high on the popularity poll, and not the main heroine.
Sorry guys apparently I’m an org for thinking both Orihime and Rukia are both beautiful in their own way lol
It’s not the point of the post btw. The point was IH fans claiming to “like/love/praise” Rukia when they turn around right away and bash her when they think that no one was looking. Like who are they fooling? At least I never pretended about how I feel about ori’s character.
And yes, the screenshot was there as evidence. I can’t claim anything without any proof, right? Rude, you can say, but objective step in my eyes.

Okay so I just noticed, I made one mistake in the translation of the video on Bleach’s editorial staff, Toya’s comment on Kubo’s views on the heroine.
At around 0:40, in the sub it’s, “So you prefer Orihime, huh”
But upon closer inspection, the male host actually said:
“Mune ha ka…” or as written in japanese, “胸派か。。” which means, “So you prefer boobs, huh”
Okay, okay, calm down. Before I receive any hate or death threats from anyone saying I’m making this up to make fun or insult a certain someone, I will explain.
Mune/ 胸 means breast/boobs,
Ha/ 派 means a faction, usually used when telling your preference (ex: Inuha(犬派) if you prefer dogs and Nekoha (猫派) if you prefer cats)
You can go check and listen to the video, yourself. I’m just translating guys, no offense meant :D And when I’m wrong I make sure it is corrected. I apologize for the mistake.

1. Kubo didn’t owe you anything.
a. Repeating Chekhov’s words: plotholes and retcons

b. But he deliberately lied, saying that:
Kubo on Rukia: When I draw this manga, I think of Ichigo as the Human side's protag and Rukia as the Shinigami side's protag.
When in fact, this is his truth:
c. Deliberate baiting of fans:
When he wanted an origo/rr endgame anyway. He should have been more forth coming like Kishimoto, whose shipping intentions was not really questioned coz most people expected it anyway.
So yes, he owes us fans something: a formal apology. But eh, who are we kidding? The guy can’t even explain the plotholes of his story, but he can put on an elaborate cosplay of Mayuri. He simply does not care; he’s rich anyway. Thanks to Rukia and IR merch.

What the fuck was even the point of the Ryūnosuke and Shino subplot in TYBW? The kid was on the cover with Ichigo and such a big deal was made about how they were replacing Zennosuke. Then they… did nothing whatsoever. They was clearly some kind of parallel or intent there (Ryūnosuke on the cover has a real Jedi master/padawan vibe; Shino is sort of vaguely in the style of Rukia; their relationship had a few moments sort of like early IR) and absolutely nothing came of it.
What was the point, Kubo?
Was this a joke? Could you just not help but shove two more characters into the dozens and dozens you already had? Was it a foreshadowing of your shitty ending where everything went unresolved? I know you like foreshadowing, bruh.
kuborg never heard of the concept of Chekhov’s gun, and that’s why he keeps on violating it.
