Does the results of the interest check mean there'll be a fest this year?

Unfortunately not. We're going to skip this year.

It has been my absolute joy and pleasure to run this fest, and @marauders-omegaverse-fest, the last few years, but interest in them has severely diminished. Also, my time has gotten a lot more sparse, and I don't have the time to commit to them that I did a few years ago. So, with such little interest (~10 people said they'd be interested in participating, out of 142), I just do not feel like it's a valuable use of time to run the fest.

If that changes, I'll definitely reconsider, but for now, we're putting this one to bed.
