Student Mess Hall

Amaya couldn't even really care about this little 'scavenger hunt', all she cared about was making herself more food, she hadn't eaten in an entire day... She really wasn't one to skip out on meals, but everything was taking its toll on her finally. Paco-kun wasnt who she thought he was, four people died, two of them being murdered by others, an entire building got burned down, and then worts of all... She couldn't get those damn punch stains out of her dress, or stockings! Stupid fucking Kotoru, asshole was gonna have to pay for her dry cleaning when they got out of this place...

Finally making it to the kitchen she nudged open the door and let herself in, it's not like anyone would give a shit if she was in there or not. She made her way over to the friged, opening it up and taking a carrot out of a bag on the bottom shelf. Even if Paco-kun wasn't Paco-kun, she still loved rabbits and carrots, not even an imposter could change that. She bit into it after closing the fridge door, then leant on a counter to enjoy her first 'meal' in awhile. Out of the corner of her eye she saw something though, and it was bugging her to no end. It shone, making her honestly want to know what it was.

If she wasn't so hungry she would have dropped the carrot to go check it out, but she WAS hungry and she'd be damned if some shiny piece of trash would make her drop her food.

As soon as she finished, she turned and made her way to the object. It was... A lighter? What the actual hell was a Lighter- Oh wait, right, scavenger hunt. She picked it up carefully, what if it was boobie trapped or something? God knows what that fucking freak could have done to it... She lifted it up to her face, looking it over as thouroughly as she could without having to open it. Fucking fantastic, it wasn't trapped from what she could tell. Might as well keep it with her, might come in handy.

Scavenger Hunt: Koyuki

She wasn't in the mood. 

She wasn't in the mood to do a lot of things. She certainly wasn't in the mood to move her cabin room again, then find that her note book was missing, THEN find that not only was her book missing, others had missing items as well and they were supposed to find them through a dumb scavenger hunt. 

After trying to bury the urge to chuck something at the speaker in her room, Koyuki sat on the bed in her room. She had Laura in her lap and pressing in a hug to her chest. The doll gave her slight comfort, but managed to keep reminding her of the trial before. 

Everyone kept dying.

Why was everyone dying?

Rubbing her red eyes, Koyuki stood up. She might as well try to find these items. Maybe she could find her book, or some of the others. She'd give them back, obviously. The bear had said that they meant a lot to whoever had owned them. 

She began to search around the camp for anything, anything that seemed out of place. Finding the shirt was rather easy, stuck between some logs near the camp fire. She stared at her before folding it nicely and draping it over her arm. The bandages were slightly harder, stuck in a box in the storage closet of the dormitory. That too stuck close to her chest.

These items were someones. These items were important to someone. She was going to find out, and give them back. 

Then maybe she'd get her book back.

Scavenger Hunt: Hoshi

  Hoshi really wasn't in one of his best moods with having to go into a first aid kit and use the basic eye-patch to cover his missing eye, leaving the burn around it for all to see. Of course, he'd have to join the hunt with all the others though. 

 He'd been slinking along through the camp, trying as best as he could to stay away from any other camper, looking in the places that either people might have already looked, or just avoided. 

 By chance, he ended up by the pool. Hoshi hadn't seen anything at first, making his way to the other exit at the end. A small box caught his eye, and he turned to find... the radio? His eyebrow raised as he picked it up, turning it over in his hand for a few moments, continuing on out a few minutes later. 

Now all he had to do was find who had it.

Scavenger Hunt : Tsubasa

Oh how fun, a scavenger hunt. As if things couldn't possibly get worse. Tsubasa groaned quietly before he wandered out of his room and outside to look for whatever items he could actually get his hands on. Oooh... perhaps he could blackmail somebody? But would he really stoop *that* look for somebody at this place? ... Yes. He definitely would.

Out of habit, he made a beeline toward the mess hall and into the kitchen. Certainly Monobear would have assumed that he would have come there, right? Tsubasa's eyes carefully scanned the room before he took a few steps toward the fridge, opening it up. Aha! What's this? A photo? And who's name is that...? Oh. Pursing his lips in a fine line, he shoved the photograph into his front pocket before turning on his heel and exiting.

Where to next? He figured he should only get two of the six items, let others have some kind of chance. Perhaps the lakehouse would prove to hold something that another holds dear? Without another thought, the chef headed toward the lakehouse - somewhat reluctantly of course, he never did like those sort of places... they always seemed so dirty.

As he stepped foot into the lake house, a small book immediately caught his eye. A notebook perhaps? A diary? Tsubasa kneeled down, picking up the book and flipped through it. Information about the campers and stories? Who could this possibly belong to? He stopped pondering on it for now as he shoved the book into his inside jacket pocket before he left the lakehouse.

the lack of the cameras would mitigate the shameful feelings he'd once felt when roaming his room without pants, for sure, he thinks. now he'll be able to walk the parameters of his room with a semblance of relief (and lack of shame...to a certain extent), so that's exactly what he's doing right at this very moment.

in nothing but a pair of boxers, and his t-shirt, hisoka is singing, loudly, to a track by a foreign artist. english, unlike japanese, rolls off his tongue with ease and fluency; there's no hesitation or uncertainty, and something akin to confidence could be heard in his tone for the first time in awhile. he has no fear of death, no worries--not even the desire to escape persists. there's nothing but hisoka, and music. for now, at least.

if you were to listen closely, you could no doubt discern his voice, albeit muffled. if you were to linger for a moment longer, you could hear the music come to a halt, and a loud crash, followed by the sound of hisoka, no longer singing, but displaying his vast knowledge of american profanities...

Koyuki listened intently when Monobear spoke through his speakers, a cold shiver running down her spine. All the cameras would be disabled? She trusted her friends, she honestly did. But...

She ran her fingers through her hair, sighing then taking off her glasses to clean them with the hem of her shirt. On the other hand, it would be a great time to figure out if there was any way out of his hellish place. Monobear wouldn't be looking, so he couldn't say anything against it. She tapped her foot on the ground for a few seconds, thinking. Then she walked out of her room and out into the camp, both looking out for anything of use or other campers she could keep an eye on.

Amaya perked up at the announcement. Oh, she was very much a hellion. She just about sprained her ankle at how fast she jumped out of her bed. She grabbed not-Paco-kun and ran out of her room without even bothering to change out of her bunny pj's. She had so many ideas running through her head she couldn't think clearly! She could start a food fight in the mess hall, claim the treehouse as her personal armory, hell she could even try to dig to america! "This... Will be my time!" she yelled to the sky as soon as she was out of her cabin. "All you damn assholes better get up and get in shape! We're going to wreak HAVOC!"

The night before, Koyuki had trouble falling asleep. She kept tossing and turning, the events of the trial shaking her to her core.

She just wanted to help.

Just help.

Thankfully when she did fall asleep, her sleep was dreamless. She didn't want to know what her brain would of thought of if she had. She woke up to the Monobear announcement, groggy and disorientated. She listened in, waking up suddenly at the sound of a "game". Another damned game? 

She hopped out of bed and over to the dresser, fishing out the envelope and opening it. She looked at the lines of paper, one in particular making her freeze up a bit. After a short while she folded the paper back into the envelope and looked at the smaller ones. To open them or not?

Five minutes later she walked out of her cabin room to see if she could find the others, pink tinting her cheeks.

Amaya just snuggled closer to Paco-kun, who had his very own place on her bed. But she still listened to the announcement as closely as she could. Of course with someone talking so loudly she wouldn't be able to fall asleep again. She groggily pulled herself out from under her covers, leaving Paco-kun as undisturbed as she possibly could.

Once she was dressed she found her envelope, opening it in the middle of pulling on her tights. Her curiosity got the better of her and she basically ripped all of the envelope's open. She had no intention of giving any of them to their proper owner's. Especially one of them, it was... Really weird to her. It made her head hurt as she read it, hell she could barely even make heads or tails of what was written down. What little was legible was disturbing to say the least.

She payed little to no mind to it as soon as she was fully dressed and out of her cabin. Might as well see if anyone has something for her.

At the sound of the announcement, Miki hardly batted an eye. She'd stopped caring. Stopped trying. After the death of Sasha, why bother?

But the mention of the "game" caused her to tense. What kind of information on her would there even be? Her apathy was soon replaced by slight paranoia.

She turned to her dresser and rummaged wildly through it, finding the envelope. She didn't particularly care about secrets of the other students, but something in the back of her mind thought that she mind find something important. No such luck.

But there was the chance of someone finding out something truly awful about her. Not that she could even remember what that could be.

So she left her room and her cabin, and stood in the shadow of the building, trying to come up with a way to obtain information.

  Riken, startled at the announcement, pushed his plate back. He was glad he hadn’t really had the stomach to go for the meat right away…. Looking up from the table, his gaze went to Wakahisa, to whom he gave a passive look. What an idiot. Even if he hadn’t been the one to kill Xun, he had basically painted a huge target on his own back – on everyone else’s backs, honestly – and… fuck. Xun had died. Riken felt sick to his stomach. He hadn’t known the boy, which made it all the more awful: there had been no motive. No reason for it at all. People were just killing for the sake of killing. He began to violently shake, closing his eyes and burying his face in his hands. He didn’t want to be here anymore. He couldn’t be here anymore. Fuck.

Before the meal, Xun set up a prank for everyone. He appeared to be cruxified to the rope wall with himself hung and stabbed in the side. Of course, this was all fake and within a few moments he was laughing. (I assumed everyone left angrily because that was a really awful joke but no one told Xun what happened before either.) This is general knowledge for the people at the party. Unfortunately, Ama was the one that asked everyone to come see Xun's prank, so take it or leave it for your character.

as the announcement sounded, hisoka eyed the plate before him. he hadn't even offered a glance at his food until now, let alone eat it. learning that one must take part in a life of mutual killing had caused his appetite to all but diminish, and by observing the others students, and their reactions to the meal, it clearly wasn't as appetizing as it seemed.

...in fact, their reactions were far too alarming, he'd never seen such horrified expressions over food--

oh. oh fucking hell.

this meal...was it, perhaps, linked to the announcement? could this actually be the student in question? 

"i...is this for fucking real...?!"

hisoka followed suit, imitating the other students, eyes now wide, expression appalled. this was sick and twisted and wrong in so many ways, and he had to get his ass out of that mess hall, lock himself in his room, and hide away until he could guarantee his safety outside.

"c-christ...this is...th-this..." he could barely string together coherent sentences, now, and his body was frozen in its seat, and shaking. he shouldn't have left his room, he really shouldn't have left...

Koyuki had just taken a bite of the main course and was going to take another when the announcement rung through the room. Her blood went ice cold and she sat frozen in place. Her eyes were wide with horror as she dropped her fork onto her plate, a loud clang filling her ears. 

"Oh."

She felt sick.

Horribly horribly sick. 

Xun, she didn't recognize the name. Was it? One of the new people? That was even worse then, just arriving into this hell. The world was spinning and she was gripping the table. With her other hand she pushed the plate of food away from her, everything on the white surface looking nearly like rotten steak and moldy fruit to her. She just looked over to the chef, giving him a horrified look. 

"Why?"

Pausing for one second, Haru slowly put his fork down.

...That is just nasty. But it was so good... And he was hungry! Damn stomach. Now he felt incredibly sick, both after realizing what he ate and also because of who he ate.

No, it couldn't be. He...he just got here! Sure, he could be a bit annoying but really? "Sick...fucker..." he groaned as he held on to his stomach. Note to self? Go for the salad first, he thought weakly. Never again...
