Haikyuu Gangster AU Headcanons. Part One.
They all live together in Oikawa’s mansion by the ocean. Kuroo likes to tease any of their hostages that the reason they live by the ocean is that they needed a place to throw the bodies where they couldn’t be found. You know, sharks and all. Honestly, the only reason they live by the ocean is that Oikawa and Daichi like to go on the yacht or sailing.
Oikawa was actually poached from another gang by Ushijima, who wouldn’t leave him alone until Oikawa joined.
Iwaizumi and Oikawa have worked together since the moment Oikawa became a famous Lawyer, after helping with the prosecution of a corrupt politician. This was right out of school too.
Sugawara and Daichi have known one another from high school, but after that they went their separate ways. It wasn’t until Daichi stumbled into Sugawara’s clinic with a bullet wound that he convinced Sugawara to join the gang.
Kuroo was a bar tender before he joined the gang. He was recruited by Daichi, after Daichi lost a huge chunk of money during poker and saw the male’s potential.
Akaashi started out as a cop, one of the best. That was until the law turned their back on him when he lost someone important to him due to one of his cases. To get his revenge, Ushijima offered a position in his gang.
Akaashi is amazing with any type of gun. He never misses his shot, nor has he ever let one of his targets get away.
Bokuto was recruited by Akaashi, after Bokuto was able to get him some hard to come by weapons.
Bokuto had always been good with gaining items from various means, working in the black market for quite a while. He built up a huge network of connections, and honestly, whatever you want, Bokuto can get, no questions asked.
Terushima joined to settle a debt he had with Oikawa who was able to keep him out of jail. Oikawa knew that he has connections with the Yakuza and had a knack for getting information out of people.
Daichi and Ushijima started out as part of Ushijima’s father’s gang. It wasn’t until Ushijima was about 25 that he broke off from his father and built his own gang. Daichi followed along, his loyalties were more to Ushijima than Ushijima’s father.
Kuroo and Terushima are the only ones that actually smoke out of the group.
Bokuto and Kuroo are the best of friends, they get along really well. Though, they have this ongoing battle in who could bring the most number of girl’s home. That, or when one of them brings a girl home, the other attempts to steal her through the night. So far, Kuroo is up in the numbers in how many girls he has stolen from Bokuto.
Daichi and Iwaizumi are the physically strongest of them all. They are gym buddies, training in the early morning together. They will only resort to using guns when they physically need to, other than that they would rather use their fists.
Terushima is the only one who brings a sword to a gun fight.
Terushima is really into the Yakuza was, so honor of a man is a huge deal for him.
Sugawara is the only one of the group that does not drink alcohol. He is always the sober one, which he is okay with.
Ushijima, Iwaizumi, Akaashi and Sugawara all own their own motorcycle. The rest would prefer to use the multiple cars that Oikawa has laying around.
Poker nights are a common routine for the group. Though, Kuroo usually ends up with most of the winnings while Bokuto and Terushima are forking over their clothing as a method of payment.
Sugawara owns a little clinic in the city which he works at during the day. There is a back door that the gang uses for they wont cause a scene for the regular folk when they need to be patched up. Other than that, he has a set of supplies at home too, just in case.
Bokuto has mood swings, so his nice persona turns into a ruthless one that holds no mercy for anyone. There have been multiple times where there have been bullet holes across the walls. Oikawa always get’s upset with him, claiming that just because he has money doesn’t mean that they need to wreck the place.
Oikawa gets along well with Iwaizumi, Sugawara and Daichi. They are the ones that he will choose to hang out with over the others.
Bokuto and Akaashi get along great together and it seems that Akaashi, along with Sugawara are really the only ones who can calm him down during one of his mood swings.
When Terushima, Bokuto and Kuroo all get together, everyone knows that shit will go down, or something is definitely going to break.
