The lower level corridors in the middle of the day were a dangerous, packed to the brim with younger years running to class and older years doing their best to prevent those younger years from making it on time. Hero was typically up for a harmless prank to break up the monotony of the day, but she had a charms essay to finish during her free period and the library was calling. So close to the rounding the corner, so close to being free of the zoo. As she reached the corner, Hero collided with a pack of young Slytherins. All her supplies - quills, parchment, books - scattered across the ground. Hero watched with horror as one beautiful white quill was crushed under the shoe of an unconcerned Ravenclaw. A string of expletives on her lips, Hero dropped to her knees and began gathering her supplies. “Just babbling, bumbling band of baboons.” Hero smiled to herself as her eyes fell on a pair of shoes, inches from her face. Hero looked up with the smile still on her face and grew wider when she saw Jay standing above her, the owner of the shoes. “Babbling, bumbling band of baboons. Try saying that five times fast.”
