Positive Disclosure #2
“No more joking around, Lucifer. I have something important to tell you.”
“Well, alright.” You watch his face turn serious, as he puts down his drink.
“I wanted to let you know that I have HSV.” Lucifer still looks at you, as if he’s still waiting for some big revelation from you.
“Is that all you had to tell me, Y/N?” Lucifer lets out a relieved laugh. “Thought you were finishing with me.”
“Oh gosh no,” you say. “I just wanted to give you the choice I never had.”
“There are worse things in the world than a bit of herpes my dear, I can tell you that.”
“You don’t know how glad I am to hear you say that,” you sigh. “I was so worried.”
Lucifer looks at you thoughtfully, then pulls you into a hug. “No reason for worry, my dear. Also you do know that I’m immune to your little diseases and infections...which is what makes me the ideal partner.”
You laugh. “I guess it does.”

“There’s something important I need to tell you, Jackson...” You take a deep breath. “I have HSV...”
Jax turns to you, casually. “You mean herpes?”
“Yes...” you sigh. Herpes. You hated that dreaded word. You didn’t know how he’d react, but you had to get it out of the way. It had been killing you inside keeping such a big secret from him.
“That it?” He asks.
“Yup,” you tell Jax.
“That’s all you had to tell me, darling?” His smirk turns into a small chuckle. “You know how many of the girls at Cara Cara have that shit? Or sweet butts for that matter? Hasn’t stopped me or any of the guys from being with them.” Jax adds.
“Not exactly the kind of thing a gal wants to hear, but I’ll take it,” you laugh. Gosh, you felt so relieved at not being rejected, you could almost cry.
Jax smiles. “Well it’s the truth. Come here.” He pulls you into a hug. “A goddamn skin infection isn’t the worst thing in the world, Y/N. Shit happens and none of it changes my feelings for you.”
You smile into his chest as he just holds you tight. It was all you needed right now.
Welcome to my (new) HSV FICTION blog
We are not dirty. We are not perfect. We have either made some mistakes or been hurt by others. This blog is meant to be a ray of light during those dark days. If this makes you uncomfortable, please keep scrolling. This isn’t for you, but for others in the same predicament.
Fiction and fantasy has always been a refuge for me while growing up. I hope this blog can help others as well.
