If you did that and uninstalled/reinstalled chrome, then I agree it might be best to contact Tumblr directly. Sounds like something on their end.

It’s going to be in the “options” menu from whatever browser you’re in.
If you google “Delete cache [insert browser name here]” I guarantee you’ll find a picture-based walkthrough somewhere.
It’s not a matter of your anti-virus having deleted it without your knowledge, it’s a matter of Tumblr using the information in there to keep you logged in. If you remove that information, it will ask you to log in again.

I’ll go try that now—-I hope it works, because I tried to log in in firefox to that same account (I used google chrome before all this) and it still said the same thing, but I’ll check with what you’ve told me, THANK YOU!
Dude, I would flip my shit if I couldn’t use chrome anymore! D: If that doesn’t work, just uninstall and reinstall - google’s usually good about cleaning up after itself.

Did you try deleting cache and cookies on your usual browser to see if that’ll log you out? Typically does the trick.
usually the anti-virus I have let’s me know if the browser is clean or if it has deleted any cookies, so I don’t worry too much about it——
