A blue sea dragon!

Drawing this creature wasn't super easy but so much fun! They look so magical and unreal, like something straight out of a fantasy story. They really make me wanna design merfolk/mermaids again! 🩵

This illustration took me way longer than I thought, but it was well worth the time spent!

It really pushed me to the limit of my current skills and I could feel how much I already improved and how much more I still wanna learn.

Doing full illustrations as opposed to individual creature or character designs is also a whole different beast.

Figuring out what materials to use and where to place them is also a creative process like drawing or painting, one that even got me out of art block more than once actually!
