from what is your quote in your describtion? It's beautiful! As is your blog! Lots lots lots of love x
A while back, one of my lovely followers gave me the answer to your question..
“The poem that you all are trying to find (the one you got your quote from on the top of your page) isn’t actually a poem at all. It was just a writing piece done by a girl here on tumblr (ehlcatt was her url), her tumblr is now deactivated, but this is the entire original piece.
“It was summer, so you let your hair grow long and learned to shout secrets at the stars spending nights cross-legged in the living room with sweat-soaked t-shirts in a size too biguntil you caught yourself in the mirror, feeling a little bit older and taller, not quite recognizing the way your eyes seem blurred and how jokes and unrequited crushes aren’t as funny anymorebecause you are sitting in a circle with strangers playing old video games from when you were a child, drinking beer like you are old and grown and tired when inside you are racing, itching desperate to stop (just please stop) and escape into the sun, to feel the aching burn of rays against your skin, to be,furious and fragile and free.”
