The thing is, Connor would look good in a baldcap and a trashbag but he's there to solidify himself as a leading actor and then they send him in a boring suit (tho the pants are fab, I've come around to them) and a hairstyle that hides half his face instead of highlighting his insane face card and that makes him a little less recognizable to industry ppl who aren't as familiar with him yet?

I think he looks good in this - because he literally can't look bad - but that's not what tonight is about and it frustrates me for himmmm, like he doesn't need a daring look in order to have people talk about him today. They will talk either way. But wouldn't you rather they talk about anything else but your unusual (and kinda incoherent) hairstyle?

The suit is boring af and the hair feels like an afterthought like where is the vision with this? If you go for hair like that make it make sense with the outfit this just feels incoherent at this point. And way to hide half his face at THE event to introduce him to the industry

fully parasocialising here but I think hudson needs the "togetherness" with connor in this newfound fame a lot more than connor does, who seems like he has always sort of existed on his own terms and seems very sure of his place in the world (maybe a hard-earned clarity?). and while hudson very much boasts about not caring about what people think, he still seems like the one of the two who needs others to ground him rather than being able to access that on his own within himself, like connor seems to be able to do.
