Incredibly useful! the amount of times I've struggled to get into #PayPal because the #2FA SMS message doesn't come through or I have no mobile signal - having the ability to use #GoogleAuthenticator / #Authy is AMAZING!!!
CPU & heatsink upgrade - bit better than what I had before, Intel Pentium G3258 -> Intel Core i7 4790K :)

Today's job, new CPU & heatsink, unfortunately it means taking everything out including the motherboard! :(

Which Inflator Hose Do I Need?
Very handy article - "BCDÂ and Drysuit Inflators are pretty simple valves that most divers can figure out but not all valves are the same or universal"

Working with introverts (written by an actual introvert) - Atlassian Blog
This resonates very strongly with me.
Well worth a read by everyone regardless whether you consider yourself introvert or extrovert.

Last July I went to a http://www.MeetUp.com/Agile-North-East event where Clarke Ching (http://www.rolls.rocks/) spoke about applying the Theory of Constraints (TOC) to software development and how it leads to a more naturally agile way of working.
During the talk he promoted his book âRolling Rocks Downhillâ (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25460979-rolling-rocks-downhill) with discount codes and signed physical copies â I ended up getting an #Audible version of the book (https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/Non-fiction/Rolling-Rocks-Downhill-Audiobook/B01DYS9V22) and Iâve finally got around to listening to it (I have Audible hooked up to the Amazon #Echo; in the mornings when Iâm getting ready for work I just ask â#Alexa, continue reading the book from Audibleâ).
Iâm only 10 chapters in so far (& itâll take a while to finish it at only 15 minutes or so per day) but already I can heartily recommend it.
For a book about agile development itâs surprisingly engaging. Itâs written in the form of a fictional story, rather than a non-fiction reference manual.
The setting is a financial services organisation who are dealing with a huge legacy core platform that touches everything and is difficult to update. They are working on an extremely high profile do-or-die project that will affect the business fundamentally and itâs already running late⊠which suddenly has to launch on an impossible deadline.
n.b. so far itâs similar in style to âThe Goalâ - (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/113934.The_Goal) by Dr. Eli Goldratt - which is also well worth reading if you like that sort of thing!

#Scrum Artifact - Sprint Backlog -
We've been missing the "at least one [...] process improvement":
"The Sprint Backlog makes visible all the work that the Development Team identifies as necessary
to meet the Sprint Goal. To ensure continuous improvement, it includes at least one high
priority process improvement identified in the previous Retrospective meeting."
Retrospectives quickly stopped because they were just forums of unrest and dissatisfaction which repeatedly highlighted areas of frustration that never changed.

I found out last night that the co-creators of Scrum have just released an update to the official guide/definition last week (7th November):
http://www.scrumguides.org/
Info about change:
* https://www.scrum.org/resources/blog/scrum-guide-update-november-2017
* https://www.scruminc.com/scrum-guide-revision-webinar/
and as it says in the guide itâs self:
âScrumâs roles, events, artifacts, and rules are immutable and although implementing only parts of Scrum is possible, the result is not Scrum.â
i.e. if you donât do it by the book, whatever it is that you are doing, itâs not Scrum!
