Jared raised a brow as he looked at his girlfriend, a smirk forming on his lips. “What’re you hiding?” He asked, a playful tone lacing his voice.
The raven haired female feigned innocence with a small smile. “Hiding? Pftt, I have no idea what you’re on about.” She replied scoffing as she kept her hand behind her back. “What are you hiding?” The female retorted turning the attention off of herself, or at least trying to.

She grinned at the male, keeping her hand behind her back. “Saw what? You saw nothing.”

“You really shouldn’t be eavesdropping.” Tyler warned, eyes scanning over to the individual beside him, noticing how they attempted to see what he was doing. He had felt their presence for a number of minutes, and it had made him wonder, should he confront them? Being realistic, he knew he had no choice. “You should know better.”
“Whaaat?” Sophie scoffed trying to feign innocence. “Pshh, just because I’m standing in close proximity to you does not mean I was eavesdropping.” The brunette avoided eye contact as she scratched her head awkwardly.
Sophie pulled her hand back and looked at the blue paint now staining it. She span around as she heard some clear their throat. Hiding her hand behind her back she smiled sheepishly. “Heeey.”

The smile on Jared’s lips widened as she asked her question and his eyes met hers, just moments before she placed a kiss on his lips. Smiling into the kiss, Jared’s hands cupped her cheeks, thumb gently moved over her cheek. “You might have,” he began, not wanting to pull away too much. “But mentioning it again wouldn’t hurt.” He let out a light chuckle before catching her lips in his again for another, longer kiss.
She bit her lip grinning at the male. “Well then, I love you Jared, I love you so freaking much.” She stated before meeting his lips, her arms snaking around his neck lightly pulling him into her, adding more pressure to their lips as she deepened the kiss.

Flynn laughed then shook his head, protesting to her comment when he already knew it to be true - he was weak when it came to Sophie. “Not a teachers pet, just someone who wants to help out.” He corrected her with a smile. Before she even had time to respond to his question, Flynn had already scooped her up into his arms, hugging her tightly he then lifted her from the ground and spun her around for a moment before placing her back down on her feet. “There, much better.” He said with a step back, a wide smile gracing his lips.
She gave a light laugh before smiling at the male fondly. “If only everyone was as giving as you.” The female couldn’t help the squeal that left her lips as the male picked her up and spun her round, she found herself laughing as she grinned, holding onto him tightly. “Oh Flynn I don’t think I could adore you anymore that I do right now. You always know how to make me smile.” She stated looking up at him before snaking her arms around his waist giving him a proper hug, gently tightening her arms squeezing him slightly before pulling back.

“I hope you don’t mind homemade pizza tonight.” Jared called through from the kitchen as he heard the door close. He hadn’t been quite sure when Sophie would return for the night, but he had wanted to surprise her. As such, the living room was dimly lit with numerous candles, wine was placed on the table and pizza sat in the oven awaiting her return. Jared walked over to the kitchen doorway and peered through, eyes landing on his girlfriend and a wide smile finding its way to his lips.
Sophie had just come home from her shift at the hospital when she was greeted with the smell of pizza. A grin came to her face as she heard Jared call out to her. She slipped her jacket off and walked into the living room. Her mouth dropped open surprised by the sight she was met with. The brunette’s heart swelled as she saw the room lit up with candles, and the table laid out with a bottle of wine sat in the middle. She bit her lip looking up at Jared who was stood in the door way. “Have I mentioned how great you are lately?” She asked walking over to him, snaking her arms around his waist before tiptoeing and placing a kiss on his lips.

“Okay that’s fair enough, I’ll let you off this time, Martinez.” Flynn spoke, laughing along with his best friend. “What can I say? I’m a fast worker, and they’re looking for more observers at the moment so they couldn’t exactly say no.” He shrugged his shoulders with yet another smile crossing his face. “I mean you do get in the way quite a lot.” Flynn teased her, sending a quick wink in her direction. The young male could tell the smile was forced and was immediately saddened - he hated seeing her like this. “Does someone need a Benson hug?” The young male offered with a gentle smile.
Sophie grinned at her friend, “You’ll let me off every time.” She looked at him smugly. “Look at you, you teachers pet.” The brunette teased nudging him with her arm. “Erm, rude.” She replied with her nose up in the air, though an amused look remained on her face. Looking at her friend, she gave him a sad smile as her heart swelled, she really was so lucky to have him in her life. “I always need a Benson hug.”

Wyatt froze, recognising the girl’s features straight away. She might have aged a few years but her overall features had near enough stayed the same, just maturing slightly. Clearing his throat he tried to clear his head. “No, no. You’re fine don’t worry.” Remembering that there were others around he chastised himself. “Is there a reason you’re lurking by my room.”
There was something about the male that stirred some form of recognition in Sophie but she just couldn’t quite place him. She bit down on her lip, frowning slightly as she tilted her head, gaze sweeping over him she tried to think whether she knew him or not. “Sorry have we met before?” She asked curiously. “Oh, erm, not particularly I was looking for a friend and then I kinda got distracted.”

Flynn offered his best friend a smile, his gaze moving to rest on her face. The reason he hadn’t seen her in a while was pure and simple, he had been avoiding her due to her spending the majority of her time with a boyfriend who quite frankly, was a complete ass. He should have been there for his friend but, that was difficult considering he was hopelessly in love with her. “A toad? Couldn’t you have chosen something a little more exciting? Like a Hippogriff?” The young male laughed lightly. “I signed up to become an observer, so I have been spending my time training for that. How have things been on your end?” He asked her cautiously, knowing that the answer would likely be negative - he didn’t want to upset her.
A small laugh fell from her lips. “If I turn you into something good where would the punishment in that?” She pointed out raising a brow. “Oh wow, that was quick. I still don’t have a particular job yet, I’ve just been helping with whatever they needed because, well, you know how indecisive I am.” She gave another chuckle as she shrugged. “I’ll decide eventually, I just want to do something that I’d be good at, you know, something where I can actually help out and not just get in the way.” Sophie smiled at her friend, shaking her head slightly. “They’ve been fine. Yeah, nothing much to say really. I’ve just been getting on with stuff.” She forced a smile to her face.
Sophie froze like a deer caught in the headlights. “I wasn’t eavesdropping, I just ... well, I didn’t know anyone was in here. I swear I didn’t hear anything.” Not much anyway.

“Avoiding you? I would never.” Flynn exclaimed in a joking manner, mock hurt lacing his voice before he stepped further into the room and plopped himself down on the bed beside her. “I guess our paths just haven’t crossed for a while.” The young man shrugged. There was a reason for that, though Sophie didn’t know that, nor would she ever.
The witch sat up, turning to face him as she placed her book down and patted a spot on the bed next to her. “Good because I’m afraid I might have had to turn you into a toad if that was the case.” She gave him a smirk. “Well, what have you been occupying yourself with in my absence?”

Sophie tore her eyes away from her book and bent her head slightly to see who had just entered her room. “Look what the cat just dragged in, I swear you’ve been avoiding me.” She stated with a grin.
I really am happy. It’s great. I don’t depend on one area of my life to make me happy. It’s really important for me to love and nourish my friends and family and to make sure that I never get influenced by a guy. I’ve wanted to be in a strong headspace for years, and I really wasn’t. Before, I was so young and easily influenced, and I’d feel insecure. You want someone to add to your life, not to complete you, if that makes sense.
