Selina loved New York it held the best marks in the world and some of the best food places as well. She’d thanked the kind old man in Mandarin as she made her way to a table with her food. “I don’t know about you but nothing taste as good as New York Chinese food from here. Highly recommend” @assemblestarter
The park had been slightly crowded on this beautiful, crisp morning, so Jen didn’t bat an eye when a stranger sat to her side at the stone table whilst she rustled through (and then tried to hide) some newspaper clippings about her side hustle of fighting crime. After all, vigilantes were looked down upon now--what a waste. No one could be trusted, so she figured she should distract the woman and respond to her words... which Jen didn’t mind one bit, as she too was a lover of good food! So she peered at the woman and eyed the food, nose twitching with the smell, then sighed at the stranger. “Well you can’t just announce that and not share! I need to judge for myself,” she giggled, reaching into her bag to pull out extra chopsticks from all the restaurants and vendors she also went to over the years. “You mind, miss? I’m from California which also has a large, talented immigrant population... Love me a good burger, but I like to think of myself as having... connoisseur taste buds, along with other talents” she enunciated, then, after pulling the wooden chopsticks apart, pinched the tips together as if to grab some noodles.
