A Vantastic Journey through Didney Worl!
And this is my little project! A fancomic, page 1 of a planned 26, in which Kankri gets it in his head to take Karkat to a human theme park.
The script has existed since last year, written on a whim after coming back from a Disney trip with @dammek and @lame-gamer-kensou and the one whom I refer to at times as condycondy. I’ve wanted to get back to my webcomics, but website issues have held me back; now that there’s hope at the end of the tunnel for that, I figured I should do some warming up, and what better way?
I’m definitely rusty, here; at some point i was pretty sure i could feel my tendons being tugged at each line. The plan is to finish at least one page per week– back when I was comicking regularly I could pop out two pages, sometimes three, but I also didn’t have a day job, so who knows how that’ll work.
I planned this comic to be laid out like a print comic – in fact several incoming jokes take the layout into account– but then it occurred me that tumblr was probably going to shrink it, and whether or not images can be opened full-size on a new tab seems to be down to luck more than anything. So… I chopped this one up after the fact. I’m not sure how it’ll work for subsequent pages. *shrug*
