Worth the Wait
I’ve been a graduate of a degree in Agricultural Biotechnology for almost 6 months. However right now it kills my pride and ego to say that I have no job right now. It pains me to ask my parents for my allowances and bills since I still have no work. I already passed the licensure examinations for Agriculturists and yet here I am still in a waiting period. To be honest I was offered an opportunity in Visayas, it was very enticing and the offer was almost an easy yes. However when I asked God about it I could clearly hear His no when I was riding a jeepney to my interview in Diliman. How could I say no. I was given a week to think about the offer and I said no on the last day of the week. It was only grace and wisdom on how did I even managed to say it in an email. Now I am very much over that day (which was yesterday), currently calming myself and telling myself that God has a plan. But clearly His plan knows what is best so why be frustrated right? You see I long to be in control for a moment but right now I believe God is teaching me to trust Him and His detailed instructions. To wait and hear for His yes. So will my job be better than the offered one before? Yes, because I know that His plan would carry through. Even if it’s long.
Crossroads
Tonight heeds the night where the crossroads fully came to exist fully. I have yet to find a job that would let me stay where I am so I took a chance and said God for the adventure you are taking me I know it is going to break my heart but better is a broken heart worshipping you than a whole and proud heart full of itself. I sent an application to a job that I believe I am qualified in skill but the location is almost 400 km away from where I live. It’s going to be a new adjust to everything but the story goes, God where the door opens let me walk through with your grace and when it closes let my heart be secured in you that I won’t look at the closed door.
