Jackson definitely in a way suffers from religious psychosis and I wish more people talked about it. It started off small, he grew up religious. They live in the Bible belt and the crosses adorned on all the walls. But the death of their mother pushed it further.

It consumed him and now he believes God can fix it all. That God will save them and allows them to do the things they do and they will be forgiven of sin because they are saving their Mother. The heart was gifted to them by what he believes was God. I have my opinions and headcanons on what it really was that I will probably info dump on eventually

His, most likely, bipolar doesn't help with the situation and ignites it. Even if it's silly I think he's a very complex character and I enjoy digging into him and now he works.

People should make more religious themed art and work with him. I love seeing it and creating it.

I'm not religious but I was. I also have experienced Religious Psychosis and I see it a lot in him.
