Hey @hummingbirdhearts
Don't threaten me with a good time ;)

"You sure, question?" Rocky asked, now slightly nervous himself. Falling back into the pidgin they so often used before.
"Well considering I'm numb just shy of my diaphragm down, I'd hope so." He lightly teased his friend. "I thought you liked to get my heart going?"
"Rocky does, can, and will get that anytime." He huffed. Rearranging his tray for the millionth time. "Will get nice look at organ next time...for now, will see what human- ugh...digestive tract looks like without skin and muscles."
He nodded, swallowing around the lump in his throat. "Yeah, since I can still talk to you during that, because it's not going through my chest. Take the first time slow."
"Yes. Grace will be good, question? Tell Rocky if hurts." He pushed the man's head back into place, assuring his mask was on, but easily removed in case he went into respiratory distress. He's cleaned and prepared the surface, having Armando help him scrub in.
"Yup. I'll be good. Try not to get my pulse going too fast. It's not good for bleeding." Grace watched with wide, very excited eyes as Rocky properly retrieved his scalpel. "Very nice! Even better than we practiced."
Rocky shushed him. "Quiet. Rocky want hear just how Grace sounds when be opening. Need to remember how good is."
Admittedly, easier said than done. Especially when he's found something he actually enjoys participating in.

Anyway, I do have an actual surgical play idea planned, but I was delighted to see these tags, so have a itty bitty drabble!
