A little preview of my current build, which is just mostly waiting for paint
Robots of immense size are classified as Hulks. Hulks are very expensive to build and maintain and while useful for things such as defense, construction, and demolition, they are rather rare to see. One such robot was built by a settlement to cut apart derelict space ships that litter the planet’s surface. One day, however, a pirate crew was able to capture the Hulk (hence the flamboyant paint job and spikes) and now uses it to fight settlement Hulks and vehicles that the pirates would otherwise stand no chance against.
This big guy came together fairly quickly and I’m rather pleased with the results. The rust and weathering effects turned out nicely and I’m pleased with the paint job
“Something wicked this way comes: the shambling form resembling something that might have once been an animal stalks forward, devoid of a soul and all that might give it life. It moves in an unnatural, unpracticed gait, this mockery of Mother Nature’s creations. It has no right to walk the world as it does, this blight upon the natural order; this abomination of artificial and unholy origin.”
Alien photography. I like how this shot and edit turned out
Just a small update on the dinosaur monster- I’ve been getting bone details and wires onto the body. I’ve also sculpted a rudimentary allosaurus skull.
A little work in progress of the beginnings of my newest project. I’m super excited for this one
Hey all you lovely people who might be seeing this! Thanks so much for all the appreciation shown for the my Shield Bearer and Einherjar it means a ton! I was on break over the holidays but I’ll be back in the swing of things soon. So stick around cause I’ve got some big plans for 2024. I’ll see y’all again soon!
The Einherjar
A dying warlord’s consciousness was uploaded into a machine body that now wanders the wastes seeking to protect those who he once would have opposed.
I’m really happy with how this guy turned out. It was a fun challenge to build a Viking/Norse mythology-themed robot, but I’m pleased with the end result
A WIP of my Viking-themed robot. I’m rather happy with how this one’s turning out
The shield bearer is done. It was a fun challenge to use the 2 big triangles of plastic in a build and then figuring out how to balance the thing (there’s a kinda heavy piece of metal on its lower back).
Little shield-bearer fella who’s trying his hardest. I’m pretty pleased with how he’s shaping up
Some of my projects I’ve been working on lately. A wire monster and a robot that’s going to be carrying some giant shields
