College survival tip: do not, under any circumstances, read a 1300 page novel in a week and a half and attempt to write an essay on said novel two days after finishing it, with a six hour time constraint in which to do so.

04/06/2021 || Woke up bright and early because my mom left her phone at home, so I dropped it off to her at work. Now I'm aggressively working on SPROJ before therapy. Last week we didn't meet, so I'm excited to potentially have more progress with handling academic and personal stuff.

Got two pleasant surprises on my midterms including an A (!!!) on my law exam. So I’m really happy with that. Now it’s time to focus on my thesis and my practicum so I can finish up and actually graduate in May!

27.03.21 // wow I really haven’t been on tumblr in a while. I’ve been a lil busy with uni and uh, animal crossing and isolation. but yesterday I had a writing class for my end of year project which is about *drum roll* a ranch owner, a botanist, ufos and sapphic love

anyway I’ve been thinking a lot about writer’s block and procrastination and my relationship with both. if you’d wanna read my more in depth thoughts I’ll be posting on my writing insta because I’m using that again now. but what it essentially boils down to is:

ask yourself if you’re really lacking motivation, ideas, the right words. or if what you’re really struggling with is self doubt. sometimes we get so caught up with what our writing says about us - if what I write is ‘bad’, what does that say about me? if I’m not a good writer, what am I? but more often than not those thoughts stop me from writing at all

even though I’ve only been allocated three hours of anatomy class time, our lecture assigned my class five hours of content. let’s hope I can survive the rest of the week 🙃

(3/100) mostly in classes today but i'm trying to get a little reading done for my dissertation. this book has 86 essays split into 7 themes and it absolutely amazes me that i acquired this much knowledge and information for £4 from a charity shop 🥺✨
