Have an ethics pre-submission review set for next Tuesday. I was hoping to submit this week but ... it is what it is. It's summer and everyone is moving slowly. I can't really make them go any faster. Of course this is dreadful for my motivation to finish in a timely fashion as now I know I don't need to be done until Monday 😬

It is not as hot as yesterday but hotter than I expected. My poor plants are miserable and I've had to water them twice every day this week.

Other than that, I picked two more books up from the library today and sorted out a doctors appointment kerfuffle with student health (it was supposed to be rescheduled but instead they just booked a new appointment so I had to cancel the original one). I also have an optometrist appointment on Friday, which is good because I haven't gotten a new prescription since probably 2022. There was a huge waitlist for appointments with a referral (required for my former insurance) when I moved home during COVID and then after I moved to Canada I was so overwhelmed with school and then health stuff it's taken me this long to get sorted lol
