The Queen of all Cosmos is a goddess.
Hello guys, it’s time to post another observation. Today I’ll be showing the similarities between the goddess Venus and the Queen of all Cosmos.
Many assume that the King and Queen are “gods” of the Cosmos, which certainly could be possible. I don’t think the King is God, but a god.
In Me and My Katamari, the Queen can be seen in the beginning of the opening with a very familiar reference. The shell and the pose are very clearly inspired by “The Birth of Venus” by Sandro Botticelli.
In Beautiful Katamari, which is the game that comes after Me and My Katamari, Venus (the planet)‘s description reads:
Once again, keep in mind that the game before Beautiful Katamari showed the Queen coming out of a shell, referencing the Birth of Venus.
While the description is mostly referring to the planet, keep in mind the Queen rules over the Cosmos as well, making a collection to the planet Venus and herself wouldn’t be crazy.
Lastly, I will go over the traits of Venus, and how they may correlate with The Queen:
Love- Her design is covered in hearts and well, she’s married.
Beauty- she is sometimes referred to as “the Beautiful Queen of All Cosmos” (In Katamari Damacy and Me and My Katamari)
Desire/sex- It is said in the Beautiful Katamari manual that she and the King “madly fell in love”. The second part can be pretty self explanatory with her being a mother, and what’s implied in the Bird and Elephant stage of We ❤️ Katamari (they banged. In the Katamari.)
Fertility- She is the mother of the Prince.
Prosperity- The King states in the Château Norte Desir stage of Beautiful Katamari that he is the richest being in the universe. The Queen was born as a commoner, but married into royalty.
Victory- This one is the hardest to put together, but someone on a server said this: The Prince completing a stage and not being punished by the King is a victory. It may not be The Queen directly winning, but her son is still important to her.
