Emery shook her head. “You are all weird. Fall and winter are horrible, sweaters mean no skirts, shorts and dresses and usually I don’t have anyone to cuddle but my dog. Fall and winter is depressing.” Emery sighed loud, just thinking about the new season coming up. “No. No certainly no. No singing, forget that idea!”

Hunter looked offended, but just teasingly "You don't love my singing? I thought you thought I was great." He began to dramatically fake cry "You have hurt my feelings beyond repair."

Emery quickly shook her head. “Everybody loves fall and winter. What is wrong with you? It’s cold! I’m sure I’ll freeze to death here this year. But true, swimming in cold water is not the nicest and certainly not the healthiest.” With a laugh the girl nudged Hunter. “You wanna say being trapped on a boat with me all day wouldn’t be fun? I’m really hurt.”

"Fall and winter are the perfect months for wearing big sweaters and cuddling, it is perfect!" Hunter smiled at Emery. "It would be fun, but I don't think I would be any fun.. I could always just sing to you the whole time we were trapped." He chuckled.

"A slide? Oh my god yes! We have to do it soon though because it gets cold here, especially at night. It’s like, freezing." That’s what Emery hated about the fall and the winter by the sea. While fall and spring were still nicely warm during the day, her grandmother promised her to have a horrible, strong winter around here. "Fall and winter sucks."

"I love winter and fall!" Hunter exclaimed. He hated the summer, he like the cool and coziness of the winter "But for us to swim and whatnot we will have to be going early, I wouldn't want to swim in cold water or just have to stay on the boat all day."

"Why that? I shouldn’t be close cops, just saying." Emery wrapped her arms around her legs, laughing as she dug into the sand with her feet. "Oh don’t worry! Um … where could we get a house boat? I have no glue to be honest."

"I think I saw a rental place right before we came in.. I will check it out tomorrow, I will get a big fancy one with slides that go into the water." he smiled. For once, he was actually excited about something "This will be really fun!"

"Yeah, remember. I still think you don’t look like a cop bossing other cops around." Emery smiled over to Hunter placing a kiss on his cheek as well. "Sound good to me. You better rent a fancy and big one! Vote? What do you mean?"

"Well, maybe I will just have to bring you to my work." The tiredness and alcohol must have been getting to Hunter's head, because he was starting to say stupid things "Sorry, I meant boat, I must be really tried and thinking about other things."

Well, I will sing really loud to cover up your voice, come on sing with me... Pleaseee.

"I just moved here and I already think it’s boring because nobody else lives here. But true, lots of people also suck. At least you can have friends there…" Emery stuffed more of her food into her mouth, just realizing how hungry she had been but still holding herself back. "I wanna be a cop if that means no work! I’m taking the night shift in the resort next week but during the day I have time."

"I am the boss, remember? I can take whatever day I want off." Hunter chuckled "I will meet you at your house then we can rent a boat." He kissed her lightly on the cheek "Do you know any places we should go in the vote?"

"Is it? But Isla Paradiso isn’t more exciting… We just have tons of water. Brideport is fun, it’s always busy. And Monte Vista is just plain beautiful… I wish I could walk through there all the time." Emery smiled back at Hunter. "Yeah, house boats are damn awesome. We should rent one for a weekend!"

"I guess every place is boring if you life there long enough... I wouldn't like to live in Bridgeport, too many people and it is always so busy." He chuckled. Hunter liked to be in places with minimal amounts of people and no busy streets, because he hated traffic. "Yeah, that would be awesome! I am free all next week too, so we can do whatever you want to do."

"It is really beautiful, yes. But take it slowly" Emery laughed, nudging Hunter’s shoulder playfully. She looked from to the water in front of them, a little scared of the future. "But Sunset Valley is also really beautiful, I like visiting it though I wouldn’t want to live there. And no, you should get a house boat! Then we can go serach mermaids!"

"Sunset Valley is extremely boring. Plus I think I have saved up enough money to move somewhere more interesting." He gave her a bright smile "A house boat would be awesome! We could go on adventures and see the world!"

As your girlfriend I will have to say no. You wee really awesome. As a regular person with ears I will say yes, you were fucking bad.

Emery smiled, happy that Hunter agreed on her. “I will as well, I promise you to give my best. This is gonna be good.” Emery believed in Hunter’s words and she really wanted to make it work as well but she still held out her pinky finger for a promise. It had been a long time since Emery had been in a relationship, it scared her a little but with Hunter she felt save, felt like she had found someone who she can trust. The dark haired woman moved closer to Hunter and placed her head on his shoulder, feeling it lift with every breath he took.

Hunter wrapped his arm around Emery's shoulder, holding her close. "This place is beautiful, I might even move here sometime, you know if things get serious." He smiled at the girl. He didn't dare say 'if they fell in love' but that is what he meant. Hunter was tired of living in Sunset Valley and this place looked amazing "I could get a house on the beach, that would be awesome, wouldn't it?"
