Staring at the sea, Lauren took a deep breath. After finally having unpacked all of her stuff in her new home, she had decided to go jogging but after a while she ended up just sitting at the pear, lost in her thoughts.
She could understand why her parents had liked it here, she liked it as well. But even if she couldn’t really remember much of their 5 years in Oakport, still everything kept remembering her of what she had lost about a year ago.
The more Lauren thought about it, the more she got sad. Which on the other hand made her feel angry. She didn’t want all those people thinking that the new girl was some kind of crybaby.
Energetically she got up from the bench and turned around to run back home.
Unfortunately she hadn’t seen that somebody was walking past and crashed right into that person. “Sorry!”, she mumbled, trying to blink away the tears before somebody could see them.
hunter went for daily jogs to stay in shape. plus it gave him time away from his apartment. he liked the fresh air almost as much as he liked music. it was peaceful. he went the same route everyday. it took him by the pier. he loved the view, so he had to make it apart of his jogs. he got lost in thought while doing so. his music was blasting through his headphones, and his eyes were locked on the flowing water to his left. he didn’t notice that someone had stepped into his path, and he ran into them. he stumbled back as he looked at the girl apollogetically. “ no that was all my fault! i wasn’t watching where i was walking. ” he said as tried to meet her eyes. he noticed the tears before she could blink them all away. “ are you alright? i’m even more sorry if i upset you. ”

Holding the small cup of yogurt in his hand, he turned to the other. “Did you know yogurt helps prevent yeast infection in women?” he said, before grabbing the plastic cover sealed over the cup before peeling it off. “It’s true. I’ve read stuff where yogurt has reduced the risk of yeast infections in women who eat yogurt regularly. And some use it as direct treatment.” Without further explaining his remarks, he scooped up a spoonful of it before shoving it into his mouth.
hunter looked down at the small container in his hand. his eyebrows drew tightly together in confusion. he almost wasn’t sure how to respond to the other. a nervous chuckle fell from his mouth as he looked up. he clicked his spoon against the table. “ should i even ask why you know or care about that fact? ” he said cracking open his own cup of yogurt. “ never mind. i’m scared of what the answer is. ”

born and raised in oakport. he has a younger sister and two dogs. both his parents are lawyers. he and his sister were quite spoiled when they were very little as a result. he felt that everything was going to be handed to him for a very long time.
growing up, he always seemed like an artistically gifted child. he loved drawing, painting, acting, but most of all music. he was obsessed with music. if he wasn’t listening to it, he was trying to make his own with anything he found around the house.
he begged his parents for guitar and piano lessons, but they didn’t see it as something that could help him later in life. so he taught himself. he watched countless videos, spied on street performers, and even practiced by just listening to music.
he worked odd jobs for neighbors to earn enough to buy a guitar. he didn’t tell his parents about it because he knew they would take it away from him. they didn’t like the fact he listened to as much music as he did, so they’d probably have disowned him if he
he didn’t like living in oakport just for the fact that his parents were very adamant on him following in their footsteps. they constantly pressured him to go to law school, and he begrudgingly agreed since they said they’d pay for it.
it didn’t take long for him to get tired of it though. he hated it. he honestly had never thought he could hate something, but he did. he dropped out half-way through his second semester.
he got his own apartment with money he had been saving by having a part time job. he decided to offer guitar and piano lessons out of his apartment, so that he could do something he actually loved to do.
he wanted to move far away from his parents. he wanted to go start again in a different place where he wouldn’t feel the pressure they put on him. but he couldn’t leave his sister. she’s the most important thing in his life despite their age difference. maybe the reason he is so protective of her is because she is so much younger than him.
heyo everyone! the name’s lilian. i’m 19 and have been rping for who knows how long at this point. i’m hoping to be on as often as possible, but college can sometimes kick my butt when it comes to my availability. but in all honesty, i’m soooooooo excited to be here!! it’s great to meet all of you!
