He doesn’t like what Allison finally concludes. Stiles frowns, first at her and then down at his hands, feeling his heart sink through his chest and try to crash through the floor. “…you’re stuck with me. You’re stuck to me. I’m…I’m what’s keeping you here. Oh my God, I’m the worst—”
She watches him for a long moment, watches his eyes dip down to his hands. "Stiles just hold on. Maybe that's temporary. I just kind of appeared. Maybe you're what i'm connected to for now. Maybe once I get stronger it'll be different. So don't go worst case just yet."
Thoughts of Scott are put aside so that Stiles can go into analytical mode. He frowns as Allison speaks, looking between her and the doorway to his room. “You feel weaker out here? Okay, uh. Uhm. Does it get worse the further you get from the room? Was it crossing the threshold? Or, uh. Let me—”
Stiles suddenly half-jogs to the end of the hallway, hands motioning to keep Allison where she stands near the room. “Tell me if it gets worse if you’re further from the room or if it’s further from me or if it doesn’t seem to be either of those things, okay?”
"Not so much weaker as stuck. Like I can't go anywhere if i wanted to." she sums up glancing around her again before looking to Stiles. She raises a brow as she watches him move further down the hall. She closes her eyes for a moment trying to decipher where she feels weaker and where she feels stronger and where she feels weaker.
Suddenly she disapates in front of Stiles. And everything is quiet for a moment. Before she speaks up, only this time appearing a few feet behind him. "I think it's safe to say i can travel with you. Or stay in your bedroom."
"It’s not about that. That is the most close minded thing I’ve ever heard. Haven’t you ever heard of sexual fluidity? Or pansexual? Attracted to someone’s personality And the sexual chemistry comes naturally. And you’re never going to be happy with this stupid attitude of yours."
Frankly she’s glad she smacked him and was capable of it. “What else am I supposed to do. I’d like to throw something at you if you don’t knock it off.”
"It’s—okay, I mean, yes, I’ve heard of them, and hey, my attitude is fine, don’t you think I’d know if Scott was sexually fluid?” Stiles objects, still rubbing at his head where he was smacked. He tries to watch Allison seriously, but mostly he’s just rattled, his entire status-quo off kilter.
"Wouldn’t it be easier to just — smack me? Instead of throw things at me?"
“Okay. I’ll drive you.” Lydia gave a sweet smile as she leaned into Allison’s touch, something she missed for so long it felt like a luxury. She listened attentively to her , attempting to stay positive. No matter how you slice it, Allison was here and it was miraculous. She didn’t want to think about losing her again, not now. "What about Peter? He’s been back and he isn’t dying. I’ve… seen it happen. But we’ll get you checked out. Do you feel okay?”
She couldn't shake the image of her disappearing into nothingness. Because she didn't belong on this planet anymore. It wasn't her place. But the way Lydia smiled she couldn't help it. She was so wrapped up in her thoughts she had gone silent for a moment. "Peter?" She echoed with a frown. "He did some kind of ritual though With Derek and his power and you. I don't ..i don't want to put anyone else I love involved. To get hurt..especially you."
She smiles softly. Reaching out to take the red head's hand. locking their fingers together. "I'm okay right now. We're together." she said with a smile.
It’s a little bit like a slap in the face. He’s so used to being stubborn, so setting in his heels and being right, about things that matter anyway. Being confronted with reality is never particularly comfortable for Stiles, in no small part because people so rarely force him to do it.
He sighs, and looks down at his hands, feeling the guilt crowd in to every part of his chest. You’re alive and you’re wasting it. And she isn’t. She isn’t because of him. He owes her at least this much. He owes her, maybe, even giving his heart over to Scott for crushing.
It’d be no real loss anyway.
Sighing, Stiles stands, scrubbing his hands over the top of his head and through his hair. He leaves the room slowly, unsure whether or not he expects to see her in the hall.
She hadn't meant to be so harsh with Stiles. But she didn’t get through to him like Scott did. She played tough love and hope it worked out for her. She wasn’t sure. But she had to leave Stiles alone to absorb the words.
But by the time he comes out of the room she can tell it hit him too hard. At first glance she is out in the hall. Pacing about the hall occasionally glancing up. “I’m not sure if i know how to get out of here.” She said softly glancing down before looking up again. “It might take more power…”she hummed glancing back to Stiles. “It was easier in your room.”
"Maybe you should go first. I should see if I can shadow you."
Colin watched her, understanding exactly what she was saying. “Yeah, sometimes they never do.” He tried to put himself in her place and knew how hard it must be. “I’m not—you can’t stay here forever. As much as I may want you to.” He bit back a swallow at that tiny admission. He had promised himself he wouldn’t get attached and he was still trying to hold her at arms length. “I’m not very good with a lot of things, Aly. The least of which is comforting someone that just came back from the dead. But you have people that love you. People that deserve your presence more than I do.”
The last thing he wanted was for her to leave but he couldn’t have her to himself forever. He needed to brace himself for what was coming and getting closer to her wasn’t going to help at all. “I don’t mind you being here, you know that. I like that you’re here. But I’m not going to fool myself into thinking that this is anything but a cooling off period for you.”
Dark eyes watched Colin from where she was burrowed into his blanket. As he begins speaking she smiles, simply at his understanding. But then he continued and she felt her heart drop in her chest. It wasn't like she didn't know. She knew she couldn't hide here forever. And she scrunched up under the blanket more if that was even possible. "What are you talking about?" She asks her brows furrowing. "You have comforted me more than anyone else could. Not overloading me with emotion and questions. You've been perfect...what is 'deserving my presence' I think you do just as much as anyone else."
She paused and sat up completely. "You've become more than that. You're not a cooling off period. Even if i go back home you don't think i'll come see you?" She asked sounding a little hurt by that. "I'm not going to just blow you off. Of course i'll go tell everyone but i don't want to be smothered. And you...you're not ... you mean more to me than you could even know." She sighs gathering the blanket around her. "If you really need me out I can leave now...i don't want to. I'd rather be with you. I mean here with you.

"...I'm alive. Where am I."
The brunette seemed to take a bracing breath, even without the need to do so, already reaching her threshold already with this conversation or rather with Stiles' stubbornness. Her back to him she finally looked over her shoulder.
"Stiles you can't just mope and be miserable and blame yourself for everything." She continued seeming to ignore the question. "You're alive and you're wasting it." Something seemed to flash behind brunette eyes for a moment before it was gone.
"It's a poor dead girl's wish that you get over yourself and go tell Scott how you feel." there's a beat and she sighs. "But first we can go see if anyone else can see you besides just you."
She turns on her heel and moves to the other side of his room before disappearing through the wall just next to the door
"I was…" Things weren’t the same when Allison left this world. Lydia’s good friends, the rest of the pack, were present but no one could replace the sweetest girl Lydia had ever known and she felt Allison’s absence like an empty hole in everything. Lydia, once a marble sculpture of a princess who had everything she wanted, became more vulnerable than she had ever felt because of the pain filling her and the sick kind of sadness that taunted her whenever she set foot in a room she spent time with Allison, or touched something of hers or looked at photos of her, vivacious and smiling. Other things happened around her that she didn’t see coming and she could feel her heart begin to crumble. She needed her best friend. Who would she go to for secrets and advice? It didn’t feel right to get close to the new girls because they could never be Allison. Just before the terrible sadness threatened to break her apart from the inside, her months of tearful prayers were answered. A sound between a sob and an almost-laugh fell past Lydia’s lips as she looked at the brunette, glowing and healthy, dusky irises glistening with pure emotion. She was at a loss for words momentarily, filled with excitement. She needed a moment to let it sink in: her voice called Allison back. “I-I’m so happy you’re back! Are you gonna go see the others? We all missed you so much…”
[ All she could remember was nothingness...like wading through a thick fog. And Lydia's voice calling to her. A wail but perfectly decipherable to the former huntress. It was just nothing but Lydia. She tried to call back but the force between them seemed insurmountable and then suddenly she was here. It wasn't as if she was an expert on Banshee's but it didn't seem possible.
She sucked in a deep breath, almost to prove to herself she could. After a moment she looked down, brows furrowing]
"Lydia..I missed you too but...what if..what if this isn't permanent or...something is wrong with me now. People don't just come back from the dead without a price."
[She pauses looking back to Lydia's face reaching a hand up to cup her cheek]
"I want to see everyone but..we should see Deaton."
Colin smiled at her words. “So you picked up on that?” He shook his head, “I’m okay. I’ll admit that this isn’t something I ever expected. You being here with me. Not with me but you know.” He was surprised that she offered and he wanted so badly to do just that. But he felt like he was stepping on someone’s toes just by sharing a bed with her. “I will if you need me to. I mean, if it’ll help.”
He stilled at her touch but leaned into it slightly. “It’s—it’s not. I should be here for you. My stuff is just old wounds. Can’t seem to shake it but I’m used to it.” He laid his hand over hers, resisting the urge to just lean in and kiss her.
But she had enough going on without him complicating it with whatever he was feeling for her. Instead, he let go of her hand to get settled onto the bed. He left her plenty of room to move closer to him if she did want him to hold her.
It was such a strange feeling. It felt like she had been plucked out of some other time. Her life before felt so far away. She remembered the faces, the names, the villains, the heroes, but she couldn't touch it and make it tangible again. Like she'd been floating happily somewhere, maybe heaven. But now she was back. She remembered Scott, telling him it was a perfect ending, dying in his arms. Bright days with her first love. Cutting for the first time in her life content. She remembered Isaac, the flourishing relationship they had.
But she couldn't find the emotions to go with them. She was brand new it felt like. And here was Colin...and it was new and something in her chest caught, she felt alive when she was with him. She blinked softly coming back to the moment. "Old wounds are the hardest to heal." she murmured.
And then he let go of her hand. "We can help each other." She assured him. Nestling into the bed. She didn't stay still long. "It's...so weird. Nothing feels real...outside of this...here. All the emotions and...i know I still love my friends...but it's hazy..all of it...but you."
[ The banshee could feel her heart beating fast, her opaline cheeks colored with intense emotion as tears spilled down her milky visage. Willowy limbs held Allison tightly as if to keep her safe, like she wished she could have in Oak Creek. She breathed slowly and deeply, moist lashes fluttered closed as she lifted a trembling hand to gently caress Allison’s dark waves. Lydia had never been so surprised in her lifetime. She didn’t know if there was something she did that brought Allison back, or something someone else did, or if she had an unknown banshee ability to bring people back from death or if an angel decided to gift Allison with a second chance at life but she was overcome with such an intense, glorious state of bliss that she almost couldn’t speak. She tilted her face just faintly enough and pressed her rosy lips to her best friend’s cheek. ] "I missed you so much, Allison… Could — could you hear me? Were you able to hear my voice when I tried to talk to you…?”
[All Allison could do was hold onto Lydia tighter carding her fingers through the strawberry blonde hair. Before she knew what she was doing she was gently rocking her. As if she could tell the banshee it was okay. She didn't remember coming back. She just...suddenly was there. She smiled brighter than the huntree may have ever before when she pressed her lips to her cheek.[
"I could hear you. I remember... hearing you. You sounded so sad and alone and i just wished i could be here to hold you."

Dark eyes stayed focused on her hands for a moment. She felt guilty suddenly. Her family had done so much damage to his. And how did it fall on his shoulders to comfort her? To hold her through the night and comfort her through this..ordeal. Whatever it was. It didn’t seem fair to him.
She lifted her gaze when he spoke and she smiled softly. Her eyes searching his face for a moment. She couldn’t deny the way her heart skipped a beat when he spoke of how much love and goodness was in her heart. She bit at her lower lip trying to quell the urge to move forward and kiss him was sudden and great.
But his voice broke through the sudden need and she smiled somewhat gratefully when he spoke. Partly due to the fact that he’d agreed to spending the rest of the night with her. That was laying with her. She laughed softly and shook her head. Pushing up from the chair. “Of course the bed. We’re not going to cram onto the couch. She said with a shake of her head. “And..thanks again.” She said leaning a hand on his shoulder. Leaning in to press a quick kiss to his cheek. It was innocent but she had hopefully gotten the thought of kissing him out of her system.
Okay, no not at all. But it was something.
Colin was made silent as she kissed him on the cheek. That did little to try and sway him from his earlier thoughts. Instead, he smiled at her and started up the stairs. “Don’t worry about it. It’s what friends are for, right?” But he knew it went deeper than that, for him anyway. But it wasn’t something that he planned to dwell on. He headed up the stairs and waited for to lay down on the bed and get comfortable before he shut the bedroom door. He normally like to sleep with his shirt off but he wouldn’t feel right to do that while laying next to her. After she laid down, he closed the door and then laid down beside her. He wasn’t sure if he should lay over or under the covers, or even if he should try to hold her as they slept. All of this was so new to him and, in a way, it made him feel a little awkward. Looking at her, he turned on his side. “Do you—I,” he cleared his throat, “—if you wake up again, I’ll be right here, okay?” He offered her a reassuring smile, at least he hoped it came off as reassuring and not terrified. “And if i wake you up then, I’m sorry. Sometimes the nightmares—”
She felt something inside her drop at the word 'friends' but he had every right to say it. They weren't anything more. No matter what was stirring inside the huntress. "Right...right...what are friends for?" She replied back, feeling something heavy in her throat. But when he looked back to her she merely smiled what she hoped came out as softly.
She laid down trying to make herself comfortable on the bed. "Hey...Collin, I want you to be comfortable up here. So just..don't feel awkward or anything. I don't bite." She assured with a smile that she hoped was convincing. She tried to steel herself as he laid down.
"I--" she said at the same time laughing nervously as he started similarly. "You can put your arms around me if you want." She offered. Brown eyes softened "Collin...don't worry about it. We can be here for each other alright." She lifted a hand to his cheek, brushing her thumb along it. "It's okay."
"Allison," Stiles says, voice faintly rough, "If Scott doesn’t like the dick, I don’t think he’s going to be magically persuaded just because it’s mine. That’s ridiculous." He sounds weary more than anything else, like there’s a weight on his shoulders pressing him down against the ground. "I know he wouldn’t want to hurt me, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t anyway.”
He’s not expecting to be hit, especially since Allison is a ghost. He gives a little yell, indignant, and raises both hands up to shelter the back of his head. “Ow! What the hell, Allison! That is totally not cool, learning the Ghost trick just to assault me with it!”
"It's not about that. That is the most close minded thing I've ever heard. Haven't you ever heard of sexual fluidity? Or pansexual? Attracted to someone's personality And the sexual chemistry comes naturally. And you're never going to be happy with this stupid attitude of yours."
Frankly she's glad she smacked him and was capable of it. "What else am I supposed to do. I'd like to throw something at you if you don't knock it off."
