Oooo upside down forehead kiss with Perfuma and Huntara
not what I reblogged it for, but I absolutely do not object to getting asks

Green
With the war over, Huntara is finally visiting Perfuma's home. Perfuma has already traveled through the Waste, and insists it's only fair for Huntara to visit her home, Plumeria. Huntara has to admit, she's curious what kind of place could make someone like Perfuma.
So far it's very green. And… squishy.
Huntara prods the ground ahead with their walking stick carefully, holding Perfuma back before the quicksand can suck her in. Or… quick-dirt? Whatever.
"What's wrong?" Perfuma asks, brushing past Huntara's arm. She walks on. "I don't see anything."
She… doesn't sink. "Quicksand?" Huntara says. "The ground isn't firm, there's quicksand."
Perfuma laughs, clear and brilliant, like the windchimes she hangs in her room in Brightmoon. "There's no quicksand here." She holds out her hand. "Come on!"
Later, when they're deep in the forest, Perfuma climbs a tree, for no other reason than the joy of it. She offers to teach Huntara how, but Huntara isn't ready to trust a plant with her life. At least, not one that isn't grown by Perfuma.
"Alright." Perfuma smiles down at her. She walks along a large branch that hangs over the path, arms held out to the sides. She sits down, just a couple feet over Huntara's head. "Close your eyes."
Automatically, Huntara does.
"Now take a step backwards."
Huntara moves their foot slowly, sliding it along the forest floor, pushing a few twigs aside as they do. All around her, leaves rustle in the wind. There are small animals, birds, a brook not far away.
And, again, Perfuma's voice. "Okay, now move just a couple inches to the left. Perfect! Thank you."
There's a quiet shuffling noise from above.
Perfuma's voice is closer when she says, "You can open your eyes now."
When Huntara does, she's less than a foot away from their face, very upside down. There's a huge grin on her face and Huntara can't stop herself from smiling back.
Perfuma reaches out, laying one hand on Huntara's cheek and threading the other through their hair. "When was the last time I told you you're beautiful?"
Huntara flushes. "This morning."
"Mmm." She leans forward and kisses them on the forehead. "Have I ever told you you'd look good in green?"
