hello this is nash ! trans, young adult, hehim 🌲🫎⛰️
this is a 100% sfw agere blog for the hunting wives fandom that i will make fics, headcanons, and moodboards for. i know that this show is uncommon for agere content, but i’m only doing this for myself and my own enjoyment. if you don’t like, please leave me alone, and if you interact in a nsfw or hostile way, i will immediately block you.
disclaimer i might talk a lot about guns on this blog. if you are fine with all of these things, welcome to my blog!!
Hiiiii 👋 I'm unfamiliar with this show but one of my comfort characters is a cowgirl and I'm also a permaregressor ig so hi lol 🫶🏻 I love this aesthetic 🌈
“okay, bubba… you excited for your first hunting trip with mama?? stay close to me when we’re out there, okay? no, nothing’s gonna get you. i know the woods are scary, but mama’s not gonna let anything happen to you. maybe you’ll shoot your first buck today, baby!”
Let's normalize having agere hcs for non traditional shows. I'm not talking about teens shows, but non moral adult shows (like the hunting wives, the mighty nein, killing eve, shameless, etc)

“Are you excited to get some boots, bubba?” Callie parked outside the store to get you our own pair of cowboy boots. “You’re gonna be just like Mama.” She pinched you cheek, helping you get out of the car.
When you walked in the store, they had many boots to choose from. “You can pick whichever ones you want, baby. There’s some back there too.” Callie pointed at the wall at the back of the store. You excitedly walked back there and picked a pair out.
“Want these ones.” You pointed, making Callie smile. “Lemme call someone over so you can try ‘em on.” She walked over to a worker and told them your size so you could see how they fit. The worker came back with a smile, giving you your shoes.
You sat on the store floor and blushed as Callie helped you take them out of the box and took your shoes off. She bent down and grabbed the boots, putting them on your feet. You were so nervous to know if workers would see and think what Callie was weird, but you were too distracted by your mama.
She squeezed the top of the boot, seeing where your toe was. “Now, these run a little big, so I just wanna make sure they’re fittin’ right.” She helped you stand up, watching you toddle around in your boots.
“Look at you, my little cowboy. You wanna wear ‘em out of the store?” You nodded enthusiastically, following close behind Callie. The store clerk rung the boots up, and your mama saw a cowboy hat on a nearby shelf, letting the clerk scan the tag before putting it on your head. She loved spoiling you.
You walked out with your new gear, feeling a little bit more like you belonged in Maple Brook, Texas. “Now you’re ready for a night out, aren’t you?” Callie’s smile was wide, kissing your cheek before opening the car door for you.

You, Callie, and her friends were shooting guns outside one hot summer day at Margo’s house. You didn’t really know how to use one, but the girls kept egging you on. “I think I’ll pass.” You shook your head, sitting down in your lawn chair. Callie saw your blush and shy face from afar, putting her gun on safety and walking towards you.
“You feeling okay, baby?” She looked down at you, her baseball cap blocking the sun from her face. “Yeah, ‘m just hot.” You scratched at your fresh mosquito bite. Callie caressed your face. “You look a little sleepy. You wanna take a nap?” She suggested. “I’m not tired.” You protested and got out of Callie’s hold, making her smirk.
“Callie! I need you over here!” Margo called for her friend, needing some help. “I’ll be right back, baby.” Callie walked away, leaving you in your chair. You decided to get comfortable, squirming around the chair. About thirty minutes passed and you were dozing off, your hat tipped to cover your face from the sun.
“I think you need that nap now, bubba. Lookin’ awfully tired.” She hit the bill of your hat, teasingly. “..Stop.” You whined. Callie brought an extra chair next to you to sit down. “Don’t give me that, now.” Callie teased, pinching your cheek and tickling your chest. Margo heard the commotion, walking over there with her gun. “What’s goin’ on here?”
“Someone’s just a little upset today. Didn’t get enough sleep last night.” Callie referred to you, rubbing your teary eyes. With your lack of sleep, along with the heat and the mosquito, you started to cry softly, feeling overwhelmed and smaller than you should be right now. Callie put her gun down, and stood up from her chair, squatting in front of you.
“Oh, baby… don’t cry. C’mere.” She lifted you out of your chair by your armpits, keeping one hand of your side as she wiped your tears. Margo smirked, watching the scene with her hand on her hip. Hearing about you and Callie’s dynamic weirded her out and confused her at first, but she grew very fond of you over time.
“Let’s sail back to the house so he can sleep. I don’t want the others seein’ him like this.” Margo patted Callie’s back and began walking to the dock. Callie put her rifle against a tree and coaxed you to start walking, but you wanted to be held.
“I can’t carry you right now, sugar.” She said lovingly, giving you a love tap on the butt to get you walking. The closer you got to the dock, the more she started to dote on you now that her friends weren’t there to see.
Margo got the boat started and Callie let you sit on her lap, you still whining softly and sniffing. “You still crying?” Callie asked, making you get embarrassed and your whining stop. “I’m just teasing, bubba.” Callie loves when you’re sensitive like this, because she gets to take care of you.
The three of you make it to Margo’s lake house, Callie helping you out of the boat. You whined again, wanting Callie to hold you. “Oh goodness, this boy is gonna be the death of me.” Her southern drawl popped in that sentence. She finally put you on her hip and kissed your cheek, and you laid your head on her shoulder.
Margo thought the encounter was sweet, opening the door for you two and showing you the bedroom. It was a pretty big bed, and Callie knew you were gonna have a good nap here. “I’ll leave you guys to it.” Margo let you have some privacy, shutting the door.
“You’re so fussy today, aren’t you?” Callie put on the voice she uses when you’re small, taking off your shoes. You still had tears welling in your eyes, tugging Callie’s heartstrings. “Mama’s got you. You can be small here, ‘kay?”
You felt a sense of calmness wash over you when Callie said that, making her smile. She held you in her lap, rubbing your back. “..mama.“ you said softly, making Callie smile. “There’s my boy. I know you’re sleepy.” She watched your eyelashes flutter as you tried to fight it. She laid you down, covering you in the blanket. “Mama‘s gonna stay, don’t worry.” She laid on top of the blanket on the other side, petting your hair. She did this until you fell fast asleep.
