Student Spotlight Virtuoso A music theory board game of âMusical Proficiencyâ and âSpirited Competitionâ. Players compete against each other by successfully answering trivia questions about music history, composition, listening comprehension, and theory. Not for the faint of heart, Virtuoso is a competitive, yet educational game geared for high school and college musicians to expand their knowledge and show off their mad skills. Pharaoh Pendent Light by Hulger for Lightyears
Using the Plumen 001 light bulb these awesome pendent lights appear to be reflective and mirror light when switched off but when illuminated they become transparent and the light source becomes clearly visible. Oddly they make me think of those one way mirrors used my police when interrogating suspects, which I always thought were cool as a child growing up, maybe thatâs why these seem so appealing to me.

Stamp Calendar
Stockholm Furniture Fair Pavilion by Gert WingÄrdh & Kustaa Saksi
The design suggests a church interior, with rows of high tables in front of an âaltarâ where panels hold sway. The table tops are made of a mirror laminate and balance on stacks of A3 paper sheets â 700,000 in total. The entire dome-like structure consists of stacks of paper sheets that hang from the roof in a Venetian blind-like construction. The lowest sheet in each stack carries part of a gigantic illustration that forms the dome-shaped ceiling. Preparations for construction have been going on for months and the actual raising of the dome is something of a never-ending task. âPrecision in all the preliminary work is crucial. and are then gradually hoisted up,â reports Sanna Gebeyehu.

GIFs by Aakash Nihalani
I love these creative little GIFs. They are created entirely out of tape, and tape art has become Aakash Nihalaniâs signature style. His work has been featured all over the internet and itâs hard not to notice it. I suggest checking out his tumblr to keep up to date with his latest work as itâs always interesting.
