hey i love your art but i gotta ask is the link and riju stuff like ship art or is it platonic

well I guess this is something you're gotta face when things you drew gained more attentions than you expected, I'll make everything clear this one time then

I said this in the previous asks before, I'm a Mipha/Link shipper, and I draw Riju simply bc I love her like many people do, all I want to do is drawing her as much as I can, so it's not ship art for me. How other people think of them is not something I can control, and honestly I don't see any harm if people want to ship them together for their own fun, that's really none of mine or any other people's business. Fanarts are just for fun, if you're not here to appreciate Riju then just block me.

One thing I can not stand is people yelling Riju is 12 and use that as a righteous excuse to bully others, I think it's quite obvious I draw the totk Riju, not the botw one (and my love in botw belongs to Mipha). If you can't see years passed in totk and Riju is pretty much same age as botw Link or Zelda now, then you're not a real totk fan. And I'm not a nice person, I don't welcome any of those people here and will block them from now on, this is my personal page, my time and energy are precious, they don't deserve me or my arts.

I do have the unfinished sketches for this short story, then I was lost with what direction the story was going to, and what kind of emotion I wanted it to be, so I put the sketches aside and worked on other things instead, hoping stepping away can help me figure out the story. I'm taking my time with art recently so everything is a slow process now, but I'll try my best to finish this one x)

Making an oc for experimenting but she ends up being a bit too precious for me

It's fine, kinda in pain and in fire, but still fine

being through a lot of things this year, both for art and my personal life, still have fire I need to put down here and there, still struggle for doing art, hopefully I can find my pace and slowly pick up my pen again

just a reminder for my future self, I'm getting better, it's moving forward, no matter how slow and subtle it seems to be

Got the totk art book and in Ruji’s design they mentioned about why she has short hair now

Unlike most gerudos, Riju isn’t too interested in romance and more leaning towards being a cool girl type. With her sword play combat style, long hair is just a distraction, so she cut the hair without hesitation.

There really is a reason why I like her so much in totk, she’s charming in both design and personality

Can you give us a tutorial on how you draw zoras

Yeah I can, but you’ll need to be a little more specific about what you want me to show xd Is it the body proportion? Body parts? Heads? Cuz generally speaking I draw all characters the same way 😂
