“I look kinda pale?” She echoed, turning to search for the nearest reflective surface. It wasn’t out of the ordinary to come across idols that look sickly and Hyeri wasn’t an exception. But she hadn’t been that bad lately. She’d been eating without restraining herself and getting enough sleep to keep her going for a full day. Her search came to no avail, so she opted to using her phone as a makeshift mirror. (This was the time when she came to regret not buying that mirror-like screen protector she saw at the mall.) Hyeri watched herself for a few seconds before laughing. “Of course~ it’s just the BB cream they slather on me every morning. They want to hide this beautiful tanned skin everyone’s so jealous about.” She announced matter-of-factly with a hand on her hip. “It’s no use, I say. It just shines through.. plus they always forget to do my neck too.”

    ★    ——  Junghwa watched as the other girl searched around for something . . and she wasn't sure what. That is, until the girl picked up her phone to see her own reflection. “ Ah! I was wondering what you were looking for . . ” A soft chuckle came from her as she nodded whilst listening to the older girl. They didn't have much of an age difference at all, but the older girl was surely cuter than she was. It was really adorable! She nodded once more, this time in agreement to the latter's statement. Of course, she'd never seen the other without BB Cream on, considering they only ever met at music shows or at broadcasting stations, but she was sure it was a sight to see. “ Ah . . I get it. I'm sure you have flawless skin even without all that make up. Heh. ”

( * technically he shouldn’t be that much of a rookie. his group has been actively performing and playing lives overseas after all, since late 2013. still, going to music shows, and navigating broadcast stations, that was all new to him ) Ah. ( * he lets out sheepish, yet still characteristically loud laughter when he realises that he’s been caught looking lost and oblivious. ) I went to get a drink- ( * he holds up a can of energy drink he had gotten from the vending machine from down the hall to explain; he recognises the female at least, it’s Junghwa, if he’s correct, from EXID ) -and to go to the bathroom, and now I can’t remember which turns I made from the waiting room… Junghwa-ssi, right? ( * he quickly bows in greeting, remembering his manners at the last second )

    ★    ——  ( / she was sure she'd seen the latter from somewhere before . . then again, she wasn't quite sure herself. maybe he was a rookie that had just very recently debuted? because honestly, schedules have been so hectic the past several days that she hasn't had the time to keep herself updated. ) Ah, I see— ( / she couldn't help but chuckle along with the male's laugh, nodding as she understood what he was saying. it reminded her of her first days backstage . . she often got lost, wondering off without the girls. ) Mhm, I'm Junghwa! And . . you are? I'm sorry, I'm bad with faces and names. ( / she mentally flicked her own forehead for not knowing who the other was before glancing around at their surroundings. surely, he probably didn't walk too far off from his waiting room. ) Mm, maybe it'd be easier if I knew your group . . I apologize, once again! It's just been a little crazy the past few days so I don't know of many rookies that have just recently debuted—
