After several months of partial inactivity, I feel like it’s time to introduce my HWU MC:

Name: Caroline (Carol) Major: Director Height: 178 cm Hair: Her natural hair is light brown and wavy, but she often dyes it blonde or red. When she wants to stand out, she wears colorful wigs. Eyes: Blue Gender: Female Preferences: Pansexual, Polyamorous

A little bit about her:

Caroline is very eccentric, both in her movies and her life choices. She enjoys variety in everything, so she often changes her hairstyle, her dates, and even her style of directing. Yet, she always wants to be ‘elegant’, even if this means wearing fancy dresses at casual meetings. She can be very obstinate about getting something, especially if it is something unique or eye-catching, even if it makes no sense (she is the kind of person to wear the money dress made out of real money).

An extreme perfectionist with her work, she spends a lot of time on her projects until they have the right ‘feel’ to it. At the same time, she does her best to respect deadlines, so she can be invested in her work for days and nights in a row. This does have a toll on her, so she may be forgetful and careless about anything else until she finishes her project.

She is very dedicated to her friends and empathizes with everyone’s struggle to succeed. Therefore, she tries to help everyone as much as she can, and believe’s in everyone’s potential. She is usually polite and reserved around people she respects and media (but will fight if she feels threatened), and dislikes unnecessary drama.

Many of Carol’s decisions are based on how interesting they sound. This might make her seem impulsive, but she only chooses things that she thinks she can succeed in, with a little work. Also, she turns away from situations which she believes would hurt others the most.

She abides to “The Game” (as she calls it, more on that later), which is the most interesting thing to her. As such, she has dated or hooked up with Addison and Ethan (at first, before deciding they should all be friends), Victoria, Chris (before they parted ways), Lance, Harrison (before Kendra’s appearance), Lisa, several members of her entourage and Hunt (who is not fully accepting of her feelings).

I woke up at 6 am. After the trip Ana took me on, I’ve trying to be as active as possible, and that means waking up early every day. I always was an early bird, so it’s really not hard for me to wake up so early.

I put on a shirt a white shirt, pants and red jumper. Even when I’m not working, I like to dress formally. I look out of the window. Today is going to rain the whole day. I would much rather stay inside but I need to do groceries. My maid used to do them for me, but now that I don’t have one, it’s up to me to go to do them. I take a deep breath. My phone starts ringing, and I look at the caller ID. It’s Ana.

“Hey beautiful.” I say with a smirk. I hear her giggle on the other side.

“Hey handsome.” She says. I can almost hear her smile. “How are you today?”

“As good as always. And you?”

“Tired. I had to study up until midnight yesterday.” She says with a yawn.

“You know you shouldn’t stay up until so late.” She starts giggling again.

“What?” I ask, not being to contain my grin. I find giggling annoying in any other person, but I can’t seem to get annoyed at her.

“I just love you play the “worried boyfriend” role.”

“Of course you do.” I pick up my keys and wallet. “Are you coming by?” I’m praying to God she says yes.

“Yes, I am.” Thank God. “Right now I have your lesson and then I’ll go to your place.”

“You know it’s not my lesson anymore. I was fired.” I say

“I know, but for me Hollywood 101 will always be your lesson.” I smile.

“Anyway, I need to go.”

“I need to go too.”

“Where are you going?” She asks

“Grocery shopping. If I’m not at home by the time you arrive, just open the door with the key that I gave you.

“Okay, bye.”

“Bye. I love you, beautiful.” I say.

“Love you too, handsome.” She says. I end the call.

I go to the kitchen and pick up the paper where I wrote the things I needed and put it my pocket. I take my coat and I put on. I pick up an umbrella and head for the door.

I put my hand on the door knob, but I stop and smile.

I’m so lucky to have her in my life.

With that thought I open the door and start walking.

I’m inside the supermarket looking at the things on my cart, checking if I have everything. Oh, one more thing. I go to the cold food section and pick couple of sandwiches and salads and put them on the cart. Sometimes Ana comes by my place at lunch for a quick kiss and she takes a sandwich to eat on the way.

After I double check if I have everything, I go the cashier and quickly pay for everything. I pick up the giant bag and head out of the supermarket.

The heavy rain continues. I open my umbrella and start walking. I wish I could’ve brought my car but Ana’s car broke down and she ask if could borrow mine. Obviously I said yes, as right now she needs it much more than I do. I could call Ana, but according to my watch, she is still in class.

I’m halfway way home when I notice a homeless man. He looks like any homeless man, long beard and dirty face, but I notice something.

A puppy.

A cute little puppy is laying next him and an umbrella is covering him. The man is getting soaked in the rain and instead of taking the umbrella to protect him he uses the umbrella to protect the puppy.

I approach the man.

“Excuse me, what’s your name?” I ask as kneel in front of him, setting the bag beside me.

“Paul.” He says with a raspy voice.

“Is that your puppy?” I point at the dog. He nods.

I look inside the bag and I pick up a sandwich and a water bottle and I hand it to the man. I don’t have any dog food so I pick up so some carrots I bought and I set them in front of the dog. Finally I hand him my umbrella.

Then I notice the man is shivering. His clothes are completely soaked. I take off my jacket and I put it around the man shoulders. The man looks at me, grateful.

“Thank you, young man.” He says. “Many people pass by me every day and not a single one of do what you just did.”

“You need that food and jacket more I’ll ever need.”

“I can see you have a good heart.” He says putting a hand to his chest. “God bless you.” He says with a smile.

“Thank you. Enjoy your food.” I say. With that I pick up my bag and start walking back toward my house, like nothing happened.

When I arrive, Ana is sitting on the couch watching TV.

“Hey beautiful.” I say. She looks at me and quickly stands up.

“What happened to you?” she asks concerned I put the bag down

“Rain.” I answer simply.

“Didn’t you have a coat and an umbrella?” She asks.

“Shouldn’t you be in class?” I ask

“Priya told us we could leave sooner.” Good she dropped it. She keeps going. “She said, and I quote “You idiots need to come to my lessons with an actual brain. Leave my class before you lower my I.Q. more than it already did.””

“Ouch.” I say.

“Yeah. Now go take a shower, you might get a cold.” She says, softly.

I start laughing.

“What?” She asks confused.

“I just love when you play the “worried girlfriend” role.” I say. She smiles, recognizing her own words, and hits me in the arm.

“Hey!”

“Go take a shower.” She sits back down on the couch.

“Fine.” I say “See you in a bit, beautiful.” Out of the corner of my eye, I can see her smiling.

I’m sitting on my couch, reading. I’m with a bit of a cold but nothing I can’t handle.

Suddenly I hear the door open and close. Ana comes running in the room.

“Why didn’t you tell me?!” She shouts.

“Tell you what?” I ask, confused.

“Tell me that you gave your umbrella and jacket to the homeless man.” She says.

“Oh that.” I say, closing my book.

“Yes, that.” She looks annoyed.

“Look, Ana, I just thought I wasn’t important.”

“Thomas, you gave your Hugo Boss coat to a homeless man.” She sits next to me.

“Actually, I have much more expensive jackets.” I say, defensively.

“Thomas, why didn’t you tell me?” She asks softly. Honestly, I’ve been trying to answer that question myself.

“I don’t know.” I run a hand through my hair. “I guess I didn’t want you to think I was bragging.”

“Thomas, you don’t to hide anything from me.” She says with a smile. “Especially when you did something so noble.“

“Thanks.” I say.

A thought comes to my mind.

“How did you find out anyway?” I ask, raising an eyebrow.

“When I come to you house, I always pass by Paul and I give him five dollars. I noticed he was wearing a jacket that looked exactly liked yours and I asked him who gave him the jacket. He’s description fits you perfectly.”

“How did he describe me?” I ask, curious.

““A young man with black hair. He looked hard on the outside, but on the inside, he had a heart of gold.”” She says, smiling.
