i think reimu is a major ass. to be serious though, i remember not liking her a whole when starting in this fandom, but now she has really grown on me, and became one of my favorite characters. looks like she started from the bottom, and now she is here.

「 ☯ 」- The news of the infamous kasha kicking the bucket seemed to not have struck a chord as big as say Marisa’s news of becoming deceased. Instead this announcement was tackled with a plain expression as Reimu continued to sweep some leaves off the shrine’s pathway. “That’s a real shame,” the miko said in between sweeps no longer catering attention to the messenger. Who would have thought Reimu could be this cold. Maybe this attitude was brought by Rin’s persistent attitude during the geyser incident.

Youmu has passed away. That's right, full-dead, not half.

「 ☯ 」- "Nh." What was with everyone in Gensokyo and they’re sudden need to kick the bucket. A frown knitted itself upon the miko’s features as a small sigh flew from her lips. She wasn’t exactly connected with Youmu personally, but the news still saddened the shrine maiden. "That’s a real shame." Looks like Reimu was going to have to put the Netherworld as her next stop to visit.

Sanae Kochiya has passed away, she was only trying to do the right thing.

「 ☯ 」- A saddened expression crafted itself upon the miko’s features at the anon’s news. She wasn’t brought to tears by this newfound fact, but was still saddened to hear someone like Sanae kicked the bucket. Sanae was a nice gal, and her occupation wasn’t to different from Reimu’s. All she could hope that she died at the moment Sanae was content with how she spent her life. “I’m sad to hear that anon. I’ll make sure to visit the Moriya Shrine soon. I’m pretty sure Kanako and Suwako aren’t taking it to well.”

「 ☯ 」- Her first reaction was taking this declaration as a joke, even a dry laugh was forced at of the miko’s lips. But as seconds turned into minutes, and the expression on the messenger’s face grew even more serious Reimu knew this was no joke. The feeling of sorrow shot her straight through the heart like a bow dipped in poison. The feeling traveled all throughout her body similar to poison as tears welled up at the corners of her eyes. “Your kidding right? This is just a cruel joke!” However, all Reimu was doing was lying to herself and she even knew that.

The tears grew larger, and without any control the walls that protected all of Reimu’s inner emotions were destroyed. The girl was now a sobbing mess. A sobbing mess she never wanted to be. This wasn’t the protector of Gensokyo, this was a vulnerable teenager and this broke her heart even more. “That damn idiot. She probably died doing something stupid to,” the shrine maiden muttered under her breath as she wiped away her tears. She knew Marisa would want Reimu to get over this soon, and that’s exactly what she would do. Even if Reimu felt something was missing in her life.

「 ☯ 」- Pupils widened in shock at this new visitor to her shrine. Same exact brown hair styled in a bob haircut, same exact clothing, and same exact face. It was her! Without any doubt the girl locking glances with Reimu was most definitely herself. So, of course the shrine maiden proclaimed what any sane person would say. "Y-your me!" Good going Reimu.

With that obvious statement out of the way the shrine maiden's mind began to try and find some reason into this sudden meeting of well, herself. Gensokyo was a place were seeing the abnormal wasn't to unnerving, so perhaps there could be reason behind this. Was Yukari playing with her sanity? Was that meddlesome tanuki trying to fool her again? Well, looks like Reimu decided to attack these questions with a small sigh instead. "Please tell me this is a joke."
