obviously gia was hesitant to go into a working environment, she had just graduated, the idea of finding something straight away and changing up her entire routine was a little daunting. even more so that it was with matthew, who was a friend of hers as well as someone she clearly had a crush on that had not wavered this entire time. she was worried she was going to embarrass herself, that was the main thing, she was so incredibly nervous. but she showed up to her first day, dressed in a powder pink silk blouse tucked into a white skirt, smaller cream heels and some chocolate brown tights. her hair was all in curls but pulled out of her face by two clips that matched the colour of her skirt with a slight gleam. she turned up with a few book an a notebook along with a fair set of pencils and pens amongst other stationary and some lunch along with a water bottle throughout the day. she was a little early, and she'd gone to get the two of them some coffee on route. "i'm here.." she chimed as she lingered by his office door.
Matthew was very happy when she accepted his offer. When he got home that night, he sat down and made a list of some things she could help with during the days to make his job easier. He got into work early that morning so that he could guide her around and help her adjust, and also to explain what she'd be doing. He looked up from the paper he was grading when she spoke. ''Hi,'' he smiled at her. ''Come on it. Have a seat.''
