"For now." Ira ordered the pizza and put his phone on the table before jumping at the couch with him again, this time being him the one with his head on Leo's lap. "Are you passing by the bar tonight? Just to make sure I got your fave drink and all, you know."

Leo let out a whine when Ira got up, staying on the couch for a moment, looking at his friend. ”I don’t. I also drink coffee and eat microwave ramen.” Leo told him, pushing himself up, sitting up straight. “Eh….You can try cooking but there’s really not much in my fridge. Or cupboard. So…” He shrugged, grabbing his phone. “Is pizza okay?”

“Pizza it’s great.” He pulled out his phone, leaning against the couch as he dialed the number. “What about you add a little green to your diet? I don’t want to have to roll you down the street next time. It’s no fair you’re the only one eating yummy food all the time.” He chuckled and rested his chin on Leo’s “Pepperoni pizza is cool?”

“Not really.” Leo said, moving his hand away with a soft sigh, closing his eyes as Ira caressed his cheekbone. “Staying at home, mostly. I should go grocery shopping and, you know, act like an adult but…” He shrugged lightly. “I think my cereal will last for a couple more days and I got a new take out menu on the mail today so I’m golden.”

“Come on, I can go with you.” Ira ruffled his hair and slowly slipped from under him to get up. “You can’t live out of cereal, Leo.” Ira smiled and placed his hands on his hips. “I can cook something now, I’m kinda hungry to be honest.”

“Pff…Okay, I’ll give you that one.” He said with a roll of his eyes, cheeks still a soft pink. “Well, of course. If I don’t take care of that old heart of yours, who will?” He asked, placing his hand over the one Ira had on his chest.

“I...I can do that.” He let out a soft nervous laugh and cleared his throat. Leo was stupidly pretty and having him looking at him like that was not good for his heart rate that he was sure the other could feel with his hand on his chest.

“So uh–– any plans for today?” Ira tried to go back to his casual state, totally ignoring the reactions of his own body and that soft shade of pink on Leo’s face...or at least he tried, his right hand moved to cup his cheek, his thumb brushing against his cheekbone.

I’m as dumb as they come.” He mumbled, looking at his friend, a little smile appearing in his lips. “Yeah, okay…” He answered, cheeks now turning red. “Just cause I don’t wanna worry you, old man.It can’t be good for your health.”

“You’re a dumb wise old man.” He smirked and leaned back again. “Hmm you’re so sweet, taking care of my old heart like a good friend.” Ira smiled, flicking his tongue as he chuckled. His hand was still resting on his chest.
