     He had known something was wrong from the moment she had set foot in the house. Her thoughts were frantic, and she had blood on her. For a moment, Edward had assumed she had just hunted and gotten blood on her clothes, but it quickly became obvious that that was not the case. No, this was not so innocent a situation, and he swiftly rose from his seat and got to the door just in time for her to open it. The blood still on her lip, and he could smell the sweet scent coming from her clothes. 

     Without even thinking about it, Edward drew her into his arms. She was his little girl, no matter her age, and he would be damned if he wouldn’t do his hardest to make this better. No matter what she may have done, he would always forgive her. It was in his very DNA to do so. 

     “I’ve got you,” he whispered, running a hand over her hair. Explanations could wait. “I’m here. It’s all right, baby.”

Her arms looped around her fathers torso while she buried her head into his shoulder while her entire body shook with sobs. She grabbed at his clothing while she whispers out. “Please don’t hate me..” she begged gently. “I didn’t mean too..” she choked out. “I..I swear..” she only buried her head to conceal her face within the crook of his neck.

headcanon !! I have made my decision. 

Elizabeth since she is half human, she will be able to have her period, It will not last long, and she will not be able to really feel the pain but she will have the rest of the symptoms. She will most likely crave a shit ton of blood, she will have mood swings, and yes, she will BLEED. But the period will only last maybe, one to four days.
