The Covenant AI Hybrid, Nibiru

AI mind, hybrid of all the covenant species. Consequently, rather unstable.

Fan character Nibiru (the original character version has been called Nibiana). Halo Fandom. Nibiru is a partially organic hybrid life form, with the mind of an AI, created by the Covenant (partially in responce to the Spartans). Hybrids are generally unstable, and the changelings are even more physically and mentally unstable, and the AI hybrids are mentally even more unstable. Many hybrids sie within the first five to ten years of their life.  Nibiru was lucky, in that she wasn't terribly unstable despite being changeling AI hybrid. At least, she <i>wasn't</i> terribly unstable. However, changing her shape as she does tends to cause mental strain and severe pain (the musculature and skeletal structures break and reform, organs shift and shape, her mind and brain shift and alter, becoming more like the species she shifts into). For AI mode/form, she can leave her body and enter technology and AI terminals, but it's dangerous to leave her body unattended like that, for obvious reasons. If she gets too far from her body (or vice versa), she can't reenter her body until it's within range again. She has her own team of hybrids that she considers her siblings. She leads them, and answers directly to the Holy Triumvirate. Also not pictured above is her Huragok (Engineer) form, and a human form (she can't really take a human form, it's just a "glamour" or "shimmer" of sorts). Things to remember about Lekgolo and Huragok. Lekgolo is just a worm. M'galekgolo is a bunch of worms in an artificial body, usually a sort of suit of armor with attached plasma canon. In this case, a small, unassuming, and therefore unexpected/sneaky child form. Huragok are all artificial life forms that are created by their "parent" Huragok. The naming procedure of Huragok also follows this trend. They are named for their gas make up (IE: Lighter than Some, Heavier than Most, etc). Nibiru's Huragok form looks fairly humanoid, as does the lekgolo form there.

Rumour has it that she was specifically commissioned by Truth, and he snuck his own genetics into the mix, meaning Nibiru's San Shyu'um form is technically related to him. It also means that Truth did something illegal, as his genetics are bad, and he was banned from procreation. It's not a widely known rumour, and it's just a rumour, but if it's true, and found out, Nibiru could be destroyed.  Nibiru technically has no gender, but is identified as a female, but was "raised" as a male, by Truth.

"Probably the way I usually end up places," she said looking around, "As for who I am, my name is Tsuki; and you?"

She didn’t question “the usual way”. “Tsuki. Err, my name, that is, I am called Nibiru” she answered. She moved past Tsuki and sat on the edge of the bed. "Why did you come here?" sha waved around the room, then out the window, showing a distant sun, a few planets, most just as far, and countless stars.

"Hello?" Tsuki was unsure where she was or who the person, or thing, before her was but it would be rude not to say hello.

Her ears twitched slightly, and she turned, slowly. It smelled like a human. The figure appeared to be one, too. Her tail twitched. "H-hello" she uttered back the greeting she’d heard. "Who are you? How did you get here?" she asked, looking up at the stranger. ((Hi Tsuki! :D Was going to use older Nibiru but younger Nibiru ended up here instead))

((theawesomebiochemiist)) A swirling vortex opens in the air, spitting out a young girl dressed in black. "Ow..."

Nibiru sat, staring across the ring construct known as Halo, her tail flicking, when suddenly, the air changed. She looked around, trying to figure out what could cause the sudden energy, but as soon as she had looked up, a small figure fell towards her. Acting automatically, she held her arms out, to catch it, then she saw it was a girl. A small human girl. She dropped her, not hard, on the ground."What was that? Where did you come from? Why are you here?" she asked, not sure which question was more pressing. All three tumbled out before she had much of a chance to think.

The girl stood up, cracking her back a few times.

"Tat was a space/time vortex, I come from Canada, and I was escaping a explosion."

The vortex disapeard after some smoke and various pieces of metal flew out.

She looked down on the tiny figure as it stretched out. "A space time vortex? Canada?" she'd never heard such odd names before. She regarded the little thing with suspicion.  "Explain this to me" she demanded, leaning in lower and closer, tail raising slightly.  She looked around once, to make sure they were, for the moment, at least, alone. Then she focused her attention back on the human girl child.
