๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐ณ๐ ๐ธ๐ฝ . . . wolfโs rage, vampireโs hunger,ย manโs ruin. a crown forged in blood and abandonment. the smile that comes before the slaughter. a body built to conquer, a heart that never healed.
Going forward with threads, I'd prefer to do orginally plotted ideas. Not just follow the show/books to the point we are simply rewriting what the show/books have shown us.
this will save me from burnout since people almost always want the same thing canon-wise from klaus and keep things flowing as we wil both be more excited for something new.
Reworking my carrd today for Klaus and getting tings written and queued up <3
Take this as a baby starter call; If you'd like a starter from Klaus plz like or comment. I'll go through your wishlist and see what we can do with them.
Klaus shrugged at her question, picking up a pencil from the vanity in her bedroom and turning it between his fingers as he inspected the brand and quality of it. He placed it back exactly where he found it, treating the little thing care that was almost comical coming from him.
โI find it... fun to play with my food.โ He admitted, lifting his eyes from the top of the vanity to meet hers through the mirror while a sly smile pulled at the corners of his mouth.
โDonโt you sometimes play with your food before eating?โ
the blood alone wasn't his problem. it was alluring, of course. just knowing it was near made him itch with want and hunger just as it would be for any other starving vampire. but there was always so much more to it for him. the sound of a strangers pulse slowing, weakening as klaus' heart rate sped and grew stronger. the scent of it making him nearly salivate as his gaze fixed on his love's nearly dead victim.
giving, and giving, and giving all the things stefan could never have.
but still he obsessed watched. so deep in his trance that he had not realized the way his eyes darkened, or jaw clenched, or the way his hands rolled into such firm fists that his nails broke skin on his palms. too lost in the age old battle of wondering whether this time would be different or if it even mattered at all.
it wasn't surprising that klaus' voice would be what pulled him away. with a connection that ran as deep as theirs, one that he struggled to put into words because at times love didn't feel adequate enough, he was positive the original could pull him from whatever trenches he found himself in. it was the fact that he was able to keep his attention that struck stefan by surprise.
he did look at him. at the shape his jaw formed while he fed mercilessly, at the grip his hands held on the barely alive body, his entire stance as he took from his prey. strong. dominant.
stefan struggled with the concept of violence. of harming others for the sake of keeping himself alive. it was selfish, and inhuman, and horrific.
and somehow klaus mikaelson made it look like art.
just as soon as the body hit the ground, no longer of any use to the hybrid, stefan stepped into his space. hands reached up to his face, fingers tracing along his jaw, his cheeks, wiping off the blood that spilled down his chin. " i don't think there are words to describe how i see you," he started. green eyes shifted as he took in klaus' features, as if wanting to remember him exactly as he was in that moment. " i watch you... i watch you feel joy, and i feel joy. i watch you hurt, and i hurt. seeing you just now, feeding and taking like that? it was almost as good as any blood i have ever tasted... you are everything to me. that is how i see you. "
Feeding from someone was already adrenaline inducing, but having Stefan watch only made the pleasure of it burn hotter through him. Klaus loved the feeling of Stefanโs eyes following every movement he made. He could hear every change in the vampireโs breathing from only a few steps away, mixed with every weakening twitch of the human trapped in his arms as he drained the life from them.
The only thing that might make it better would be Stefan feeding beside him, their mouths pressed to the same throat as they took what they needed together. Klaus understood why Stefan could not allow himself to do it, though. He understood the fear that came with losing control, even if part of him still longed to see Stefan stop fighting his own nature for once.
When the body finally fell from his hands and Stefan moved into his space, Klaus stood still beneath his touch. His eyes remained on Stefan while those fingers traced over his face, wiping the blood from his cheeks and chin.
Every word slipped beneath his skin and settled somewhere Klaus rarely allowed anyone to reach.
His heart swelled beneath the adoration Stefan poured into him, and Klaus slowly shook his head. Not in disagreement, but disbelief. After everything he was and everything he could become, Stefan still looked at him as though he were worthy of such love.
Klaus leaned in to kiss him, but stopped just before their lips met. A shaky breath left him, followed by a breathless laugh as the weight of everything Stefan said threatened to overwhelm him.
โOne moment.โ He stepped back toward the body and held one finger up to Stefan. Klaus tore a strip from the humanโs flannel, using the fabric to wipe the blood from his mouth and chin. He dragged it quickly over his tongue as well, unwilling to let the taste of anyone else remain between them.
The second the fabric fell from his hands, Klaus turned back to Stefan and reached for him. One hand caught the back of his neck, the other grabbed at the front of his shirt to pull him firmly against the hybrid's chest. His mouth then crashed into Stefan's with all the force of everything he was still learning how to say.
His fingers curled into Stefanโs hair while his body pressed closer, desperate to feel the proof of him there. The heat of his skin. The beat of his heart. The way Stefan returned every bit of hunger Klaus gave him without fear.
No one else ever loved him like this. Klaus spent a thousand years waiting for affection to sour into resentment or devotion to crumble because of what he was.
But here was Stefan, who has seen every ugly piece of him and stayed anyway.
A faint sound caught in Klausโs throat as he tilted Stefanโs head and kissed him harder, pouring every broken and possessive piece of himself into it. He didnt know how to say that Stefan was the only person dear and alive whose love he trusted enough to need. He didnt know how to admit that losing him frightened Klaus more than any weapon or enemy ever could.
When Klaus finally pulled back, he kept Stefan close, their foreheads touching as his thumb moved slowly across the vampireโs cheek. โYou make it very difficult to remain composed, love,โ he murmured, his voice unsteady while a small smile formed on his mouth.
His eyes moved over Stefanโs face, searching him as though he might find some sign that this was only another beautiful lie. โAnd you are everything to me as well.โ
"You're gettin' ahead of yourself, Klaus. I'm a classy lady, I could've been talkin' 'bout recitin' a love poem t'you." Jessie warns, eying him with a fake serious expression, even though he was completely right. They've fallen into a routine she doesn't want to get out of yet, and while most people wouldn't even dream of attempting to get a taste of Klaus' blood, the redhead has prided herself on being the only one who can and does feed on him almost regularly. His blood tastes of gold, something she's never truly found in someone else. Regular human blood tastes of coffee grounds and ash, vomit inducing if she gets too much. She can taste it all, every minuscule thing wrong with the person in just one bite, heightened senses of her tongue betraying her vampiric nature every time. Human blood is atrocious, yet needed for her survival.
Vampire blood dilutes it enough where it's stomach-able while still getting the nutrients needed to walk another day.
Jessie eases back to the bedroom to put on something that can multitask as a sundress and something to get thrown onto the floor by her horny husband. Its red straps hang from her shoulders, orange strands being pushed back by a claw clip, and her brown boots are comfy enough for her to have a bounce in her step as she approaches back behind him, pressing her chest against his back.
"I was thinkin' that we can go for a stroll along the beach, I hear there's a festival not too far away." Jessie suggests, letting her hands run under his shirt to hug him gently. "I wanna get some shells while you do your thing."
While she was upstairs, Klaus continued to clean the kitchen like the good husband he was. He put the dishes into the dishwasher, wiped down the counter, and put the flour away where it belonged so she would see how apologetic he was for the time away.
โA beach, huh?โ Klaus exhaled slowly at the feeling of her hands sliding beneath his shirt just as he finished up, his own hands coming to rest over hers through the fabric.
There was something sweet about the way she wrapped herself around him from behind as if he was not the monster half the world feared. He was simply hers in everyway one could belong to someone else. As a husband, a lover, a nuisance, whatever she wished to call him that day.
โI suppose I could go for a bite to eat that isnโt you.โ He tugged her hands out from under his shirt and caught her fingers, pulling her around him so he could properly appreciate her. Every day, he was reminded just how absolutely blessed he was to have a wife like Jessie. Klaus was a man who knew how to appreciate art, and Jessie was art personified.
โLetโs go.โ He dramatically sighed. โBefore I decide on a change of plans.โ
