favorite Klaus ships?

There's only two that I really like canon wise which is naturally Katherine and Stefan.

The dark toxicity of Katherine & Klaus just brings me a sort of joy that nothing else does.

And Klefan? No one can deny the sexual tension, yearning, and desire those two have for each other.

Nora's Lore

Eleanora (Nora) Bishop is an OC from my historical paranormal romance WIP.

During the summer of 1692, she’s accused of witchcraft by her friend Ada Turner after a joke-gone-wrong in the woods.

After that, the suspiious in Ada grows deeper but she doesn’t bring the accusation before the church. Not yet, at least.

A few days go by and Nora meets a mysterious man in the village. He is from overseas and his stories of the world fascinates her. She expresses how she wished she could see more than just what the village has to offer her, he tells her that maybe one day she could.

Unknowinly to Nora, this man has been watching her for a while now. Having been in the forest watching the start of the fallout between Nora and Ada, when the girls yelled at the trees and dared for whomever it was to come out.

This man, Demitri, is an ancient Upyr, the first man to become one in (what is now modern day) Russia around 100 AD. In all his centuries, he has never been so interested in a human. The laws of his kind forbid him from interfering in human affairs, and he breaks them simply by speaking to Nora. He helped make those laws himself and has carried out the executions of others who disobeyed them.

Time passes and Demitri learns that Nora is going to be killed, and being the selfish creature he is.. he bites her. He can't bear the thought of losing her forever.

An upyr can't turn a human just through the taking of blood and passing of venom. It can start the transition, but the human needs to die a violent or traumatic death within 48 hours of the bite.

The death is what triggers it to complete.

(this is where the story stops right now so no sneakpeaks because I'm stll drafting and figuring out how/where the story goes.)

Klaus’ lips curved into a smile as she cleaned the blood from him, amusement in his eyes as her thumb brushed over his lip. The smile only turned twicked when she licked the blood from her own thumb, their eyes locked the whole time.

He gave a slow shake of his head, a quiet 'tsk tsk tsk' slipping from his tongue as his hand caught her wrist and jerked her back toward him. “I was saving that for later,” he lied.

His eyes stayed locked on hers as his fangs came out to play. “Now I’m afraid I’ll have to replace what you took from me.”

Klaus lowered his head, looking at her from beneath his lashes, letting the threat hang there for a second before his fangs sank into her wrist and he drank.

There was a sweetness to the blood of his hybrids that Klaus never found anywhere else. His blood had remade them and tasting it returned was a satisfaction he would never get tired of

A slow, pleased smile crept across Klaus’ lips as his eyes locked on Stefan. Oh, now that was music to his ears. After all the running, all the denial, all the little attempts Stefan made to convince himself he could stand on his own without him, there it was at last.

The truth.

Klaus arched a brow as he closed the distance between them, his hand coming to rest against Stefan’s shoulder and his other hand nudged Stefan’s chin up with the back of his fingers so he had no choice but to look at him.

“You will never have to do anything without me again, Stefan.” His voice carried a mock softness, but the possessive fondness beneath it was unmistakable. “I don’t see why you’d have to go anywhere, or be with anyone else, when you could remain exactly where you belong.”

His smile deepened, thumb brushing once against Stefan’s jaw.

“With me, old friend.”

Klaus stared at her with an arched brow, then glanced around them as if there was any possibility she could have been speaking to someone else. But it was only the two of them, which made it all the more insulting. “I know you did not just challenge my authority.”

His voice was low and sweet in that way that never meant anything actually kind, it was a mockery of patience stretched very thin.

“You think since you’re a witch, and because the Salvatores have allowed you to stomp about with that lovely little attitude of yours, that you get a free pass in this world?” He stalked toward her like a wolf hunting a rabbit, anger burning beneath each step he took. “You do not.”

He tilted his head, eyes narrowing as he glared at her as he warned her.

“You will watch your tongue when you speak to me,” his tone lost all the sweetness now and instead dripped in venom. “Or I’ll cut it out and we can see how powerful you feel without it. I am not one of your little friends and I will not tolerate your insolence like them."

Klaus rolled his eyes at her dramatized words, as he lifted the glass in his hand and took a drink.

“I highly doubt that, Tatia,” he muttered, lowering the glass and setting it down on the nearby end table.

His eyes returned to her. “You cannot simply shed who you once were like a snake shedding its skin. You may bury her, dress her in another name, tell yourself enough pretty lies until they begin to sound like truth, but she is still there.” His mouth curved faintly, though there was no warmth in it. “And unfortunately for you, love, I remember her far too well.”

After the unfortunate run in with Mikael back in New Orleans, Klaus and Rebekah had split off from the rest of the family and headed north to New York. It had been agreed that scattering for a time might keep Mikael busy a bit longer. There would be more noise to follow, spreading him out all across the country to track down the leads instead of leading him to one spot.

Or, at least, that is what they had all hoped.

Klaus poured himself a gin and tonic from the bar in the parlor of the house him and Rebekah had convenitely became the new owners of. It was grand, lavish even, with marble floors and beautiful rugs imported by the previous owners that had even been so kind to have provided a meal for Klaus and Rebekah that first night after draining their bank account for the siblings.

Klaus could admit the lifestyle they had dived into suited them well with all the parties, the drinking, the music late into the night. New York had no shortage of men desperate to impress his sister and women eager to be on his arm.

The only thing ruining it all was how he was on constant edge. Their father's apperane had thrown Klaus into another spiral of paranoia. Every time they step outside their door, he is on the lookout for any shadow that even slightly resembled Mikael.

Klaus lifted the glass to his mouth and took a slow sip, letting the burn dance on his tongue before his eyes rose to the staircase. “Rebekah, love,” he called out. “The neighbors will be expecting us to make an appearance tonight.”

He glanced toward the clock. “Do tell me you are nearly finished."
