Upon request, here is a rec list with bottom Louis fics where Harry and Louis breakup and eventually reconcile. In some of these fics, they’re broken up before the story begins, and in some of these fics, they break up over the course of the story.

Also, in some of these fics, Harry and Louis are in friends with benefits relationship or another relationship where they’re basically dating in all but name. In these cases, we noted that it was an “unofficial breakup.”
