hamin/hyomin;; wrecked
Hyomin downs shot after shot, determined to get smashed in the worst (best? It depends on one's mind frame, really, she thinks, and how one would view the entire situation) way possible. Fun, fun, fucking fun, has been her mantra for the entire night so far and that isn't going to change just because of... certain setbacks involving her ex.
Yes, that's right ex, she reminds herself as she downs another vodka shot. And it's going to stay that way forever, she tells herself, more decided than ever. No more Joon detours--it's unhealthy for her, and this time she's really going to make sure of it. I love you. It's kind of funny how those three words chased her away, instead of reeling her in but hearing them from his lips just somehow proved to her exactly how fucked up she was around him.
She holds a finger up, motioning at the bartender for more drinks; she takes a deep breath and one step back, Â cracking her neck from side to side. She stretches her arms, trying to snap herself into attention, only to accidentally hit someone.Â
"Ha! Min!" She exclaims when she sees who it is, clearly enunciating each syllable of his name. "Come on!" She says suddenly, grabbing his hand and leading him to the floor. "Let's dance!"
lay/hyomin;; lonely hearts club
Hyomin has asked the last dozen people sheâs bumped into at the party if theyâve seen Joon. Unfortunately, drunk or not, none of them has been able to give her a straight answer, and sheâs finally deciding to give up. After all, when this thing, whatever this thing is, between her and Joon had started, she had promised herself that there was no way she was going to chase after him once it all blows up again.
And obviously, it was bound to blow up big time if even she was looking at the end like itâs a question of when, and not if. She canât help herselfâwith Joon, even when she tries her best not to, itâs like sheâs always waiting for the shit to hit the fan. The funny thing is, Joon has been nothing but perfect recently. Itâs been so easy to remember why she fell in love with him in the first place and why, even though sheâs never going to admit to anyone, not even herself, sheâs still a little bit in love with him right now.
She makes her way to the bar, frustrated but determined to have a few more drinks if it meant some fun, date or sans date. The world is funny though, she thinks, as she bumps into the one person who would probably be able to tell her where Joon is.
âLay!â She exclaims, a genuine smile on her face as she gives him a slightly intoxicated hug.
My body is hooked on you and even my soul goes crazy because of you.
yuri/hyomin;; second thoughts
She knew that Hyomin was saying something, but her mind failed to process them, as if the words just came into one ear and out on the other. But nevertheless, seeing Hyomin in that state just made her want to stare at herâ probably made captive by the other femaleâs gaze.
It was only at that moment that she got the chance to stare at her longerâ just enough to realize that Hyomin was indeed attractive. Not that sheâs never realized that before, but before, Yuri just considered it as mere admiration for a friendâs beauty and thatâs it. Not until now, of course.
Now is a different story. The other femaleâs following questions came ringing in her head. She wanted to answer her questions, but as she was just about to say something, she noticed her inching closer towards her and unconsciously, Yuri, too, was doing the same.Â
With her mind hazy from the alcohol domination in her system, Yuri didnât have the will to think what was about to happen. She didnât have the will to think how to react either. All so could offer was complete submission to what was about to happen. Whatever it was, she knew she wouldnât regret it afterwards.
Hyomin gulps down what remains of her drink before setting the can down on the floor and completely making her way towards Yuri. "Hi," she says, biting her bottom lip as she swings a leg over Yuri, adjusting a little until she's properly straddling her friend.Â
"You want to try and see if you find girls generally fun?" She asks, a teasing smile spreading on her lips. Hyomin isn't really thinking anymore--all she knows is that Yuri is beautiful and it felt good to have her legs trapped between her thighs. "What do you think?" She murmurs as she wraps her arms around Yuri's neck, leaning closer until their lips are only half an inch apart
Loud, Proud and I Don't Give a Fuck || Hyomin & Hamin
He already felt like dropping dead, at least Hyomin was pretty and nice, but Hamin wasnât. He saw that they were going to go man down the garage sale and he wasnât excited, Great a bunch of people who are gonna want to haggle and shit. For crap they can go buy themselves. He smiled slighty, âAh okay okay.â He followed behind her and saw that it was going to be at the Gamma lawn and started to help set up and groaned that he had to move. He wished he grabbed a guy from Kappa house so that he would do it. âSo.. we just.. watch?â Hamin asked the girl brushing his hair out of the way, which was obviously too long, but hopefully he could get a lot of costumers with his looks. Then again he really didnât want to deal with people and it was cold out too. Things werenât going his way causing a frown to form on his face.Â
âYah.. so what are we even doing?â He sighed shifting his weight on to his other leg obviously looking uninterested in everything and everyone around.Â
"Yes, we watch," Hyomin answers, trying not to roll her eyes just yet as she drags two plastic chairs towards the make-shift booth for them to use. "And do a little sales talk, obviously." She's not stupid, she can tell that Hamin didn't particularly want to be here but so far Hyomin can deal with that as long as he didn't get too whiny.Â
"Here," she says sternly as she hands him a clipboard. "Do some inventory over there--" she waves him over to a table of cluttered items, "and try to make the display presentable and sellable while I do some last minute pricing." She tries to hold her tongue, but in the end she can't help the tiny dig that slips out anyway. "That's not too much work for a pretty boy like you, is it?"
How Many Lights Do You See | Joon & Hyomin
Joon shut off his car engine and turned to Hyomin, looking over her body as she sat in the passengerâs seat, sighing loudly in admiration. She really did make a sexy Nancy and he was glad that she had even accepted his date offer. They hadnât been on a date in a long time and with how things were going lately, he couldnât take seeing her there with someone else. There were just some things about himself that he couldnât explain, and his jealousy was one of them. It was often irrational.
He opened the car door and stepped out into the cold, pulling his leather jacket tight over his chest to try and block out the wind. Before Hyomin could open her door, he ran over to the passengerâs side and reached for it, swinging the door open and celebrating quietly to himself. He held out a hand for her and winked, trying to make himself seem like a gentleman. Girls seemed to like that kind of stuff, didnât they? Joon wasnât really sure, but he wanted to charm Hyomin.
âMy lady,â he joked, breaking his makeshift image. It was hard to be serious when you were dressed up as Sid Vicious, and he hadnât even gone ten seconds before almost breaking out into hysterical laughter. âYou really do look ravishing, Hyomin.â
The truth is that Hyomin has no idea what the hell it is that's going on between her and Joon these days. He's been nothing but an absolute sweetheart recently but that's not what's new, after all, he's done nothing but try to get in her good graces since they broke up. The thing is, they've been acting more and more like an actual couple again, even choosing their costumes for Fantasia together to make sure they match. Every time Hyomin allowed herself to think about, it basically fucked her head up.
This is why, as Joon graciously opens the car door for her, she simply puts on the best smile on her face and quietly resolves to stop thinking too much and just enjoy the night. So far, it really wasn't that hard with Joon looking as good as he was.
She slips out of the car, adjusting her leather skirt a little before looping her hand around Joon's arm. "You don't look bad yourself," she answers him, squeezing his tones bicep a little. "Not as emaciated as a Sid Vicious should be, but--" she leans closer and whispers into his ear, "--ten times hotter."
Fun is the watchword, she silently replays in her head like she has been doing for the past few weeks. Don't get attached.
Joon/Hyomin;; I Need You
âFood? Yeah, I think I have some of that,â Joon muttered. He knew that all he had in his dorm room were snacks, but he didnât want Hyomin to change her mind. They hadnât been alone together in a long time. âLiquor is a food, right? Iâm positive that I have plenty of that.â
Joon followed Hyominâs cue and followed her towards the exit, once again taking long strides to walk in front of her get the door. He pushed it open and shivered at the cold air that seemed to knock the wind out of him. He held the door open and smiled at Hyomin, trying everything in his power to keep their interaction positive.
âYou donât have to worry about taking me back to my car. Iâm sure that I can get back to it later.â
"Alcohol isn't food, Changsun," Hyomin comments, his real name rolling off her tongue still as easy as it used to be when they were still together. "Maybe we can drop by a drive-through or something," she adds with a shrug, giving him a tiny smile when he opens the door for her.
She automatically adjusts her coat, wrapping it tighter around herself as she feels the coldness outside. She stops in her tracks, waiting for Joon to follow her out. "Oh, right, your car." A brief 'oh' forms on her lips, and she has to admit that she'd already forgotten leaving behind his car at the park. "Are you sure you're fine leaving it behind?"
She presses the automatic unlock for her car as soon as they approach it; and then she turns to Joon with a questioning look. "Where do you live again this semester?" She hesitates before holding out the keys towards him. "Do you want to drive?"
Loud, Proud and I Don't Give a Fuck || Hyomin & Hamin
Yu Hamin hated service work, he hated being in Xi Nu Lambda. The only reason he was even here was because his father was a legacy naturally Hamin would have to join also. Nonetheless with his fatherâs watchful eye, itâs not like he could avoid it. He brushed his rather long hair out of his face. Today the Gammas and the Lambdas were going to go help out around town doing various things, such as cleaning up parks, serving food to the homeless and even painting a few houses. Hamin hated anything that required him to move, especially if it wasnât of his own free will.Â
But at least girls would be there, he gave a small smile at the ladies of Gamma Pi Beta, and then the head brother and sister of the houses passed out lists of partners and who was doing what. Hamin looked at the list and saw Park Hyomin. He blinked a few times seeing an image of a pretty girl whoâs actually very involved in school things. Heâs also heard about her before, he did live in a fraternity, and they talked about girls obviously. Hyominâs name came up, nothing bad or alarming. More or less just endless compliments about the girl. Hamin sighed a little and walked up behind the girl, â..Hyomin right? Hi.. Hamin of Xi Nu Lambda, but Iâm sure you couldâve guessed that.â He let out a small chuckle.Â
Hyomin turns around at the sound of a stranger's voice, only to find a familiar looking guy introducing himself to her. She knows who he is, actually, Hyomin knows the names of most of the people in the Greek system, after all. Not to mention they have extra-curriculars together--not that Hyomin ever saw him much during club meetings.
She looks at him from head to toe, already having a bad feeling about this partnership, but she forces a friendly smile on her face. The Lambdas and the Gammas were the top dogs in the university's Greek system, and everyone knew that this joint volunteer work was something that both houses needed to further boost their reputation--especially after a particularly disaster mixer that happened right before Christmas.
"That's right, call me Hyomin," Hyomin nods and turns her attention to the assignment list and sees that the two of them are supposed to man the garage sale by themselves that morning, before switching to food service around lunch time. She lets out a sigh of relief; the garage sale was going to be taking place at the Gamma lawn so at least they didn't need to travel to town until much later. "Come on," she says, motioning at Hamin. "Let's go."
yuri/hyomin;; second thoughts
Yuri felt the other girl tuck her hair behind her ear but Yuri just remained motionless on the couch, her eyes still closed. Somehow, the question Hyomin just threw her at made her dig all the memories she had in the past, trying to find answers to her questions.
âI guess I did. I mean, every woman is attractive in her own way. Maybe I was just to naive to admit it beforeâ, she saidâ half unsure about her answer. She recalls, the first time she slept with a girl was when she broke up with Jonghyun when she found out that Jonghyun was gay. She felt so lost that time, and that girl she ended sleeping with, was the only who stayed with her that time. Well, she was beautiful and she canât deny the fact that she, too, was extremely sexy that Yuri just canât turn her down when the girl begged for some hot time.Â
âWhy did you ask, though?â, she asked, tilting her head to the side to look at Hyomin, her head still leaning on the backrest of the couchâ her eyes falling into the other girlâs gaze immediately.Â
Hyomin shrugs, making quick work of her second beer can as Yuri ponders over the question she had been presented with. She tucks her legs underneath her and twists her entire  body to face her friend. She rests her head against the back of the couch, her eyes meeting Yuri's.
"Girls are attractive, there's nothing wrong with that," she murmurs, finally starting to feel a little heady from the alcohol. "I stopped caring a while back--I don't even care if it's just a phase, even, like some people have said to me." Her hand reaches out towards Yuri, poking the other female's cheek gently with her pointer finger before tracing a random pattern. Hyomin isn't blind, she knows how attractive her friend is, she always had. But she suddenly looks soft and fuzzy, and a little bit hazy, probably due to the alcohol, but Hyomin doesn't care. Yuri looked like she was glowing.
"You had fun though, right?" Hyomin smirks, unconsciously starting to inch closer towards her friend. "And it felt good, yeah?"Â
Hyominâs boobscam fancam
yuri/hyomin;; second thoughts
Hyomin-ah, when did you accept that you were a bisexual? Or wait⊠did you? Yuri already looks a little buzzed when she asks Hyomin the question, her eyelids half-closed as she leans against the backrest of the couch, fingers loosely wrapped around a can of beer. The question makes Hyomin pause and think--luckily she doesn't get as drunk easily as her friend, and she gulps down what remains from her can, immediately reaching out for a second one.
The truth is, she's always found women beautiful. Even as a young girl, she had always known how to appreciate a female's physical beauty, but that had been all it was back then. The first time she had been sexually attracted to a girl was during the start of her sophomore year in high school--Hyuna. It had started innocently enough, just two friends thrown into circumstances where they had to spend a little too much time together. When Hyomin first started getting that funny, tingly feeling whenever she was too close to Hyuna, she had tried brushing it off. Even after the first time they kissed, she'd managed to convince herself that all it was, was confusion from her big, dramatic break-up with Joon. But then it happened again, and again, and again until it was more than just a kiss because Hyomin couldn't deny her attraction any longer.
Somehow it just became easier after that.
Hyomin takes another sip of beer and shrugs, reaching over to tuck a stray lock of Yuri's hair behind her ear. "I can't remember the exact moment, all I know is that, one day, women were just as sexually attractive to me as men were," she admits. "Have you felt sexually attracted to other women before? Or just... generally, are you sexually attracted to women other than the girl from the club?"
Familiar Face || Jiyong & Hyomin
Jiyong gave her a pout. âItâs not that I donât remember anything. I donât have Alzheimerâs!â Why did the conversation have to shift to this? He started the engine, turning back to the tall buildings that were more commonly known as prisons - oh wait, that was the school.
âMidnight? Donât you guys have a curfew?â He was puzzled as to why she would ask him out as late as that. And Hyomin of all people. She wasnât a goody-two shoes but the was a little too extreme for her. And then this was one of the few weeks that he decided to sleep at normal times and then Hyomin would suddenly ask him to take her out at midnight. âAlright. Seems pretty normal: professor and student rendezvousing at midnight,â he chuckled. âOh, this is your building right?â
He stopped the car right in front of the main building so she wouldnât have to walk very far. âRing me up when you need me to pick you up again, alright? I think Iâll get some sleep before later.â This was the part where he would be asked to give a goodbye kiss, but she hadnât really said anything. Or maybe she joked about it yesterday but he wasnât sure if he was supposed to make a move. âUhâŠbye.â
"Damn, oppa, you graduate and you turn into a complete old man, memory loss and all," Hyomin teases. She clucks her tongue, shakes her head, and waves her hand. "Curfew, what curfew? Are you going to turn me in, professor?" She laughs, throwing him a challenging grin. "Or maybe you should stop referring to us as professor and student, after all, aren't you my boyfriend for seven days?"
She huffs, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "As far as I know, boyfriends ang girlfriends rendezvous at midnight all the time." She smiles widely. "Don't worry about house curfew, I can slip out easily, just be there a couple of minutes before midnight, okay?"
Hyomin unbuckles her seatbelt as Jiyong slows down to a stop in front of the main building. She slips her bag strap through her arm, unable to wipe the smile on her face even if she tried. "See you later, oppa!" She says, just a little too sweetly, before leaning in, kissing the corner of Jiyong's mouth and finally getting out of the car.
Shopping Made Queasy | Hyomin & Eunjung
Eunjung couldnât help but groan, as soon as she heard the magical word âdresses.â She could already imagine the cloth snaking her body, making every joints and muscles freeze, preventing her from moving her usual large and very unfeminine moves. The fact that it brings back bad memories (aka that thing when the dress sheâd worn got torn vertically at the sides, edge to edge) just adds up to her total resentment to the sewn pieces of textile.
âThis suuuucks,â she said, lengthening the last words as she had her eyes closed and sighing upon opening it. She shifted her gaze to Hyomin and leaned, grasping her shoulders; looking at her dramatically.
âHyomin, I know,â Eunjung fake sniffled. âIâve been a bad friend but.. I just want you to know,â She let go of Hyominâs shoulders and wiped an imaginary tear at the corner of her eyes. âI.. I..â She looked like sheâs having a hard time trying to get the words out, like itâs something that would entirely change how the whole world goes and of course not in a good way.
âIâm hungry!â She said, finally letting go of her, leaning back to her seat as she whined. âCan we like drop by McDonalds or something?âÂ
Hyomin rolls her eyes at Eunjung's over-dramatization, but she's smiling when she turns on the ignition. "Don't be a drama queen unnie," she teases, glancing at the rearview mirror asshe carefully pulls out of her parking space. "You're going to have to get used to dresses, eventually! And I promise we'll get you something that's pretty but comfortable."
She glances at her older friend before continuing, "Can't promise the same about shoes though. All the pretty shoes always require some sort of comfort sacrifice." She chuckles, knowing that Eunjung is inwardly squirming at all the talk of clothes. Hyomin reaches out and pats her friend's arm. "Don't worry," she says with a grin. "We'll get McDonald's after we get you an outfit."
Amber/Hyomin;; Car Troubles
âRefreshing because the last girl I had a conversation with only happened because she âlostâ the keys to handcuffs and I literally couldnât leave.â She explained in a deadpan tone. There were people that Amber just couldnât stand, and people who restrained her in a not-fun way topped the list. âGood conversationâs hard to come by.â
Amber fiddled with he mechanics of the axis for a minute, trying to find the source of what kept the wheel from rolling along at the right degree âShouldnât be too terribly long nowâŠâ Her fingers dug up into a part further back in, until with a small scraping noise, she pulled back, grasping something in her hand. âLooks like you got a rock up there?â Well this was a first for Amber in car repair. Most of the time things like this couldnât get wedged that far up.Â
âAs for the unusual moments⊠theyâre fun. But just as moments. Oh and donât worry about paying me. Like I said, good conversation, is hard t come by.â
The corner of Hyomin's mouth quirks up at the brief anecdote, an image immediately forming in her head. "Yeah, so what happened to the girl and the handcuffs then?" Her eyes are on Amber, working under her car, but her head is off somewhere with the cuffs in question. "Hm pretty sure that girl wasn't one for conversation," she adds, chuckling.
"A rock?!" Â She hobbles over, squatting beside Amber while trying to peer under her car. "Ugh," she groans, reaching towards Amber's hand to take a look at how big the rock in question is. "Remind me never to drive through a storm ever again--how did that even get stuck up there?!"
"So, that's it? It's not going to make noises any more?" She clucks her tongue as she stands up, dusting herself off. "Are you sure conversation is enough payment? I feel bad--I was probably going to spend a fortune anyway if I'd gone to an actual auto-repair shop."
Second Thoughts â Hyomin & Yuri
(/just looks at the other girlâ her mind still processing the things the other girl just said. sheâs thinking if she should continue talking about it to the other girl or not. Yuri looks away as she munches on a handful of nuts. It takes her a minute or two before she could say anything again) I couldnât agree less. I mean, youâre right. Thereâs nothing wrong with it. (/she looks at the other girl and nods at her before taking a sip of her beer again)Â
(/raises an eyebrow) What's really on your mind then? (/gulps down some more beer) What's really bothering you? (/chuckles) Where did you meet this girl again? Do you want to see her again?
