“I’m a senior in high school. If people know that I still come out to this kind of place to listen to busking I will probably get mocked. But so what? What’s wrong with being a senior in high school? This is what I like to do. I’ve even finished everything I needed to do before I came here. People tell me what to do too much. The future isn’t that clear, and I am happiest right here, right now.”
“전 고3이예요. 이런 데 나와서 버스킹 듣는다고 하면 욕을 먹지만, 고3이면 어때요. 제가 좋아서 하는 거 잖아요. 저, 제 할일 다 마치고 왔어요. 사람들은 너무 저희에게 이래라저래라 해요. 미래는 그렇게 확실하지 않아요. 전 지금 여기 있는 게 가장 행복해요.”

A Guide to Lucid Dreaming // Free People
If you’ve never had a look into lucid dreaming before I completely recommend you checking this out. Lucid Dreaming is what it’s called when you are able to recognise that you are dreaming, by becoming aware, you are then able to control your dream.
It is as awesome as it sounds. I had done a lot of research on it in the past and it is really not that hard. It’s definitely worth a look into. :)
If anyone has any questions on this at all feel free to message me as well. xx
Balance Your Brain With Lucid Dreaming
Contact to the subconscious mind, unlocking personal and collective potential, boosting creativity, experiencing adventures, rediscovering the true Self - the positive aspects of lucid dreaming are sheer endless. We can use it to solve the secrets of our nightmares or to simply enjoy a world with no limits other than our imagination. It can be our sanctuary and it can be our source of wisdom.
Now, researchers from the University of Lincoln, UK, found out that lucid dreaming can highly improve problem solving in daily life, not only when approaching a problem during a lucid dream directly. A study focusing on insight (creating a group word based on three single words, e.g. the group word for ‘sand’, ‘mile’ and ‘age’ is “stone”) showed that test subjects who were good lucid dreamers were able to solve 25 percent more problems than those who did not practice lucid dreaming.
Dr. Patrick Bourke, who conducted the study, said: “It is believed that for dreamers to become lucid while asleep, they must see past the overwhelming reality of their dream state, and recognize that they are dreaming. The same cognitive ability was found to be demonstrated while awake by a person’s ability to think in a different way when it comes to solving problems.”
It seems that lucid dreaming changes the way we use our brain. Usually we either experience a dominant left brain hemisphere or a dominant right brain hemisphere. Only extremely well-balanced people experience a constant harmonic shift between both sides. While the left brain hemisphere is relevant for logical thinking, the right brain hemisphere is the source of creative intuition. When we are in a lucid dream we are in a cycle of creativity and logical conclusions. This balance of intuition and knowledge is the reason why we are generally getting better in solving problems. Creative breaks, in comparison to logical relations, are a necessity for development. Not only does a balanced brain activity support problem solving, it also calms our minds and harmonizes our soul. Even more reasons for a life full of lucid dreams!
