I’m Oswald, your AAC arteest! I want to be able to give back to my fellow autistic people by providing visual aids for AAC and online communication!
However, before you start writing your requests, there are a few rules:
1. While I will make symbols for pretty much anything, including NSFW topics, there are a few that I cannot make. This includes:
Anything Harry Potter related: I do not want to give that bitch any more attention.
Certain reclaimed slurs: Some reclaimed slurs are not mine to render or profit from, such as the n-word.
Dogwhistles and other harmful rhetoric: There’s a difference between using certain words to discuss issues in our society and directly spreading them.
OCs that don’t belong to you: Characters from shows, movies, and books? Hell yeah! But unless you have permission from the artist (having them message me), I won’t draw their characters.
2. Don’t ask multiple times for the same symbol, even if it’s been a while. I’m probably either backed up or I’m not feeling well.
3. I am way better at cartoony stuff, but will try my best to draw realistic looking people in my style. Just know it probably won’t turn out as well…
4. No squabbling. And by that, I mean no commenting “B-B-But Character isn’t pansexual! Character isn’t disabled!” If something is difficult to understand or see, tell me, but how someone else sees a character or idea is none of your business.
5. Don’t be afraid to ask! If you aren’t sure about something, send an ask or message me directly! However, I don’t like people sending me DMs without an express purpose. It makes me anxious.
