Described as a “rebellious rock poet” and pioneer whose music changed Russia, his premature death in a car accident at age 28 left fans devastated. The 2018 film “Leto” (Лето) directed by Kirill Serebrennikov follows 19-year-old Tsoi one summer in early 1980s Leningrad.
